POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On Thursday, we continued to advocate for the original version of MMHOP. Seven members of YAN testified in favor of this ordinance. With more of us in the audience. Some telling their personal stories, some getting down to the numbers, all wanting a better Anchorage.

We will continue to advocate for an Anchorage that is accessible, affordable, and safe. We hope you join us and continue to let the assembly and the rest of Anchorage know that we have a voice and we will use it.

Watch these clips and more on the municipality’s YouTube.

It’s not too late. Tonight, at 6pm public hearing on MMHOP will continue.

Last night, more members of YAN testified in favor of MMHOP. Many more of us showed up in support.

We are immensely proud of those who spoke, and those who sat for hours to show the assembly we care.

Come speak, send an email, call in, whatever you can. Let’s show the assembly, and the community that we want to stay, we want MMHOP.

Last night, 6 members of YAN gave testimonies to the Anchorage Assembly Meeting in support of MMHOP. We are excited to be using our voices and speaking up in favor of more middle housing.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, and continue to show up.

If you weren’t able to make it, this isn’t the last chance. This discussion will continue into the next Assembly meeting on October 6th.

Watch the rest of our testimonies, and many others on the municipality’s YouTube channel.

July 1st I got out of a long term relationship and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. I moved in with my best friend @chellsmellbelle, helped with the film Golden Hour where I met SO MANY new friends that I have made the most beautiful memories with,, created, played, and performed so much music, roadtripped to BREATHTAKING places, and my life has expanded and evolved into a dream I never thought I would be able to live. I’m not sad that these chapters/seasons are coming to an end - I am absolutely infatuated with life and so excited to see what happens next. All I know is it will not involve another long-term relationship lol 💚💚💚 #summer2026 #alaskansummer #imfreeeeee
Ps. I tried to tag everyone in the video but if I didn’t tag u plz lemme know and I will 💚💚💚😼
