POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
From Beirut to Kuala Lumpur 🇱🇧🇲🇾

Thank you @klfestival for welcoming us with so much care.

During our time in Kuala Lumpur, we shared Origin of a Tale with new audiences, opened conversations around the work, and led workshops where hands, clay, stories, and imagination met across ages and languages. We are truly grateful for the experience.

A few days of performance, exchange, laughter, shared meals, and encounters that will stay with us.

A huge thank you to the dedicated KL Festival team, the wonderful audiences, the workshop participants, and everyone who made this journey possible.

Until the next tale. ✨

As Armel Guerne writes: ‘No man, it is not true, steps forward on his own to the edge of risk (…) He needs support; he needs to meet brothers, find friends to be able and to dare to venture further.’”

Closing the circle on this 2025’s DARB tour, and looking back with gratitude at the road we walked together last year. DARB took us from Hermel to Bcharreh, Burj el Barajneh, Baakline, Saida, Baalbeck, Rahbeh to Zahle. What remains is all the encounters that shaped the journey: the generosity, the tenderness, the shared effort, and the feeling that no path is made alone.

In the midst of all what is currently weighing on us, these moments of encounter, art, and shared presence feel more precious than ever. They remind us of the care, generosity, and quiet strength that continue to exist across our communities.

As we seal this journey, we carry with us all those moments of exchange, joy, and solidarity that shaped it. Thank you to everyone who walked this DARB tour with us, the artists, audiences, hosts, communities, and all the hands and faces behind the scenes.

And a special heartfelt thank you to all our partners who made this journey possible:

@collectifkahraba and Dr. Robert Eid met in 2014 to create @hammanaartisthouse

Together, we dreamed and shaped its first steps, opening it in 2017 as a space for encounters between artists, neighbors, audiences, and partners from near and far. What gave it life were the people, the volunteers, collaborators, and friends whose generosity carried every project. For this, our gratitude is endless.

HAH became a place for research, rehearsals, drafts, and workshops, supporting artists and the growth of the scene.

Season after season, local and international creations met the public, and community gatherings and partnerships shaped a constellation of relationships, allies, and friendships. Thank you to everyone that was a part of this journey.

Today, as we move toward new pathways, we are glad to see the House alive with new energy. And we remain open to crossings of paths still to come because art is always the story of shared encounters. 🌙

Ce que les dieux nous ont laissé is an invitation into a poetic space where bodies in motion, live drawing, music and masks gather like a polyphonic chant.

On stage, two beings and two breaths continue a long artistic dialogue, searching for a language where what is essential can surface through simplicity and attention to the present moment.

We warmly thank @theatrejoliette Marseille for welcoming this work. By offering a space of trust, listening, and encounter, the theatre affirmed its role as a place of gathering where a community, however fleeting, can meet an emerging artistic gesture and let it resonate.
