Hi there!! I’m Eric, welcome to all the new faces and hello again to the OGs.🕺

Over the last year of solo work I have made leaps and bounds in my skills, knowledge, gear, network, and quality of work. Looking back even a couple months ago I can already see how my production process has evolved.

I truly can’t express how grateful I am to be able to capture and produce the content I do. Every client and every project has taught me more about myself, the industry, and my own creativity.

I am beyond excited for the next steps in my career as I continue to learn and grow, starting with some amazing portraits taken by @hannah.jo.photos (the goat) edited by me. Here’s to the infinite stories yet to be told 🎥📖

Man I hate having this much fun

Unpopular opinion: I think people have completely misunderstood what AI is actually replacing.
•
As a wedding photographer, I’m not sitting around worried that a robot is going to learn how to edit like me or pose couples like me.
•
I’m wondering who’s going to convince 12 drunk adults to cooperate for a group photo.
•
Who’s going to pin the boutonniere that fell apart.
•
Who’s going to notice the veil is crooked.
•
Who’s going to tell Grandpa he’s standing in the middle of the aisle.
•
Who’s going to carry your bouquet, fluff your dress, calm your nerves, fix your hair, keep your timeline moving, and somehow make everyone believe family photos are going to take “just five minutes.”
•
Here’s the controversial part: I don’t think people hire great wedding photographers because they own an expensive camera.
•
I think they hire them because they’re buying experience, emotional intelligence, problem solving, and someone who can manage 100+ personalities under pressure while making it all look effortless.
•
The photos are just the receipt.
•
AI is incredible. Technology is incredible. But there are some jobs where the product was never the only thing you were paying for.
•
And I’d still like to see AI wrangle 12 drunk people into doing literally anything on a wedding day.
