#Impressed though I am with the #hemp industry's double digit annual growth, I thought I'd experiment with blinking in a few million more acres behind me. Did it work? #Magic is #HempBound http://dougfine.com/media-appearances/

In addition to being one of the most knowledgeable #humans alive when it comes to processing the #hemp plant, @RogerGussiass of #HealthyOilseeds is one of the most #generous. He is one of my true mentors, both in how to press #hempseeds and how to treat people. It was so great to hang out with him in beautiful #NorthDakota (legions of #herons and #frogs in my life as I dashed back to my own harvests through the back-roads route you suggested, Roger), and the interview we conducted will no doubt be among the most informative and fun for my readers, viewers and consulting clients: every time we meet I learn something about hemp processing (especially the crucial nutritive component of hemp’s architecture). Another thing to notice in this photo, which in addition to Roger and myself, also includes my colleague @hempnorthwest, half of a husband and wife team that is launching a #farmer-friendly hemp processing operation in, well, the #Northwest, is this (and it’s a key theme in my live event keynote this year): when one is ready to become a professional, especially with a food product, it is necessary to digest a tome of often Byzantine regulations. Hence the #hairnets: Roger had a safety inspection upcoming. All other things being equal, I’m more of a “juice the grapes by jumping on them with bare feet” kind of guy. But somewhere in the middle lies a reasonable mode of production, even in this microbe-fearing moment in history. One other thing I feel compelled to point out: my 2014 book, #HempBound, describes North Dakota's #farmers and #entrepreneurs as chomping on the bit to launch the domestic industry the moment hemp was legalized. Here is the proof that they were not just blowing smoke. https://media.chelseagreen.com/product/hemp-bound/

#Lucky to be #farming in #Vermont with just a stellar team. Every piece of the puzzle that comprises #bootstrap #regenerative #entrepreneurial #agriculture feels like it's coming together. At least when we're not getting lost in the field. This #Samurai is a robust plant. The industrial pipeline is #HempBound with superior #fiber and related #biomaterials. And it is #delicious working on it. This is a great time of year to be in #Vermont. My pard Cary's #family keeps pumping me full of #tomatoes and #greens and #berries #GardenOfEden #FarmToTable https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ix7KfC7Jwg4 @nationalfarmersunion @hfuuofficial @ruralvermont @welovevermont @vtdigger @vtagriculture

#Victory. Enjoying full #cannabis #peace in #Vermont with #raspberries on my tongue and all kinds of #terpenes in my nostrils. I love #Vermont in #Autumn. The #GreenMountaimState is beyond #HempBound - she's here. Which is why we see Vermont disproportionately leading thr way on all sides of the plant. #RoleModel #OnBrand #FarmToTable. #locavore. This is how indie business thrives in the 21st century. Meanwhile, see y'all @montanastatehempfest this weekend. My book signing is Saturday from 1 to 2 and my keynote it is at 3. There is a feeling of disappearing into the #wilderness for this event. Because, well, it's disappearing into the wilderness. http://dougfine.com/events/

#ILoveMyJob. I have the pleasure of working on #hemp projects in four U.S. States, sometimes helping other #farmers, universities and #tribal governments, sometimes building #genetics, and sometimes #marketing a #FarmToTable product. How did I get so #lucky? As with any endeavor, #HardWork is a component. But #timing probably has something to do with it. The world is isn't merely ready to be #HempBound. It is very #wise to be. #Hemp is leading the way into the bio-materials era because of performance. http://dougfine.com/ @lala_echogurl @hph_rohas @cocolanier @ssdpaustralia @angzbk @sourcehemp @elevatedhemp @prestonwhitfield @victoryhempfoods @boulder_hemp_farm @mikebuczkiewicz @ruralvermont @mikkinorris @nprnews @latimesbooks @colorado_hemp_project

Glad to have my #HempBound/#TooHighToFail interview included in @Newsweek #Special #Weed Issue. #MainstreamMedia is #Hemp Bound. I believe that's because a #CriticalMass of #humanity realizes the importance of this #plant in our game plan for #survival. http://dougfine.com/media-appearances/

#Soil panel at #HempOnTheSlope. #RealFarmers - #Hemp #Burgers - and several scary cows that @saltcreekhemp made me feed (to show me how easy I have it with #goats). Are you #wondering if the hemp industry is #ForReal? I watched one woman close a 2 Kilo #CBN deal before 8 am. #RuralAmerica is #HempBound. And this time, we're #entrepreneurs Great job producing and hosting the event as usual, @nocohempexpo & @saltcreekhemp. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ix7KfC7Jwg4 My own words at #HempOnTheSlope felt right #FromTheHeart. @phillesh said he liked playing venues like @oregoncountryfair best. I agree. #IcingOnTheCake is when the audience is sitting on hay bales and flashing #ASL for hemp. We're all #SoilFarmers now. #American #SignLanguage. @chelseagreenbooks @modfarm @drbronner @bendroz @winnie_138 @hemp.hill2

On top of the #reality that any #FieldDay is a #blessing (one could work in a #cubicle), I feel a significant sense of responsibility to find myself a decision-maker for actual #RealWorld #hemp crops, whose progress affects real world #farmers in #real #families. So it is with a combined sigh of relief and #prayer of #appreciation that I greet each successfully #harvested crop. In #Hawaii I've been amazed at the robust, very fragrant plants, providing plenty of seed production, and, as you can see, gorgeous fiber. #PinchMe Am I really #headlining #Europe's largest #hemp/#cannabis #festival alongside @edrosenthal420 & #DanaLarsen? This is a real #honor-The folks who #organize the 10th Annual #Cannabis #Liberation Day are #NotFoolingAround-They are helping lead the @european.union to the same full #cannabis #peace that we approach #Stateside-Ensuring that the #HumanRight of feeding the #human #EndoCannabinoidSystem is #honored & #embraced #everywhere-Plus the #music lineup is #rad. #Literally #HempBound #WorldTour https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx6sQgJLyQM

In retrospect of course Day One of the @centralushemp Expo was such a truly #magical return to #hemp for the last active state before #prohibition (1957). In fact, 'twas such a smash that #Wisconsin organizers signed contract for next year at the same #beautiful venue here at the #FrankLoydWright designed @mononaterrace in #Madison-To cap it off, right after my #keynote, #Wisconsin Department of #Agriculture officials announced some of the best #US #hemp regulations to date-The #Badger State is #HempBound https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx6sQgJLyQM As further proof, it is no small feat to get a #ballroom full of #Midwest #farmers to flash #AmericanSignLanguage for hemp at 9 AM.
