Head Coach - Tarleton State Men’s Basketball

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

That’s me. #42. Kent State men’s basketball.

And that right there is what excitement feels like when your team is winning and someone does something amazing.

You’re on your feet. You’re shouting. Your face says everything.

In that moment, one teammate’s success belongs to all of you. You know the work behind it-and you’re proud to be beside them when it pays off.

My college days remain my most memorable team days. Looking at this photograph brings that feeling right back: the joy, the connection, and the pride of being part of something bigger than myself.

It also reminds me of something I want to carry into every room I enter today:

Be the kind of teammate who gives someone a reason to keep going-and celebrates them when they break through.

That matters on the court. It matters in a classroom, a workplace, and a community.

Recognize the effort. Celebrate the achievement. Let people see that you’re proud of them.

I wore #42, but the memory belongs to all of us.

Who was part of the team you’ll never forget?

A great reminder to stay consistent, competitive, confident, and connected in everything we do.
