Official Selection • Jakarta World Cinema 2026 🎬✨
Incredibly thrilled to announce that The Last Fifteen Minutes has been officially selected for the KlikFilm Short Movie Competition at this year’s Jakarta World Cinema @jakartaworldcinema Out of 312 submissions, we are incredibly honored to have advanced as an official Top 30 Finalist.
This selection is a testament to the absolute brilliance, sweat, and heart of our entire cast and crew. None of this happens without a team that trusts the vision. Huge congratulations to everyone involved! ❤️
Our film is officially in the running for the festival’s prestigious Jury Prizes—judged by Indonesia’s industry titans Joko Anwar, Gina S. Noer, and Khozy Rizal—as well as a special Audience Choice Award.
Save the Dates:
While the festival doesn’t kick off until the end of the month, we wanted to share this major milestone with you early. The entire competition lineup will be streaming globally on the KlikFilm @klikfilm app from October 31st to November 21st.
When the window opens, your streams and views will directly help us compete for that Audience Award! For now, mark your calendars, and we will share direct streaming links as soon as they go live.
A massive, heartfelt thank you to our phenomenal cast and crew who poured their souls into this project. This achievement belongs to all of us. ❤️

Over the weekend I finally got to share "Rory's Guide to Falling in Love with a Superhero" with family, friends, and my amazing team. What a dream come true 💖 I love this little pilot with all my heart, and it has been the joy of a lifetime to make it with the most amazing people in the world. Please bear with me as I sound off on thank you's below!

To @keegand__ and @duilioramoss, thank you for giving Rory and Alex all your talent and love. You've made countless people fall in love with the two of you, and no one else could have done that. Forever grateful you both appeared in my life!

To @ahhmie2, thank you for lending your incredible skill as a director to this project. You took this from something that could've been corny to something poignant and beautiful, and I'm so thankful.

To @modak.ks, this is a little cinematic masterpiece! It wouldn't have been the same without your amazing talents and vision. Thank you!

To @tina.hynh and @archermoth, thank you for bringing this world to life with the most amazing production design. Your constant belief in the project always anchored me even when things were hard. Thank you!

To @adhelstern, thank you for being the best collaborator and making the coolest original superhero costume ever. I count my lucky stars that I got someone as talented and kind as you making these characters a reality!

To @ethan_logue_ and @azibohh, thank you for the incredible soundscape you made. It sounds like an actual superhero project!! And that's all thanks to both of your genius. I'm indebted.

To @karsoncase, thank you for the tireless hours you spent editing this story to make it just right. You are such a trooper and I appreciate you endlessly. And yes, thank you for Tanka Jahari.

To @ktmerts, @alex_mould, @annarich24, and @nearonset, this production would have fallen to pieces without each of you. Thank you for your thoroughness, efficiency, care, and enthusiasm, and for making set the best place to be.

To all the rest of my team, thank you each for your time, devotion, and hard work! This wouldn't be what it is without each and every one of you, so thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Now on to festivals! 💥
