Our last 3 days were spent exploring Slovenia. It’s a small, beautiful country known for its Alpine scenery, charming towns, lakes, forests, and relaxed European atmosphere.

Ljubljana, the capital, is centered around the Ljubljanica River. It has a charming old town filled with colorful Baroque buildings, outdoor cafés, bridges, and the hilltop Ljubljana Castle. It feels lively and sophisticated.

Lake Bled is Slovenia’s iconic destination, surrounded by the Julian Alps. The emerald-green lake, Bled Island with its picturesque church, and medieval Bled Castle perched above the water create one of Europe’s most recognizable landscapes. It’s peaceful and scenic. We walked, hiked, rowed, and cycled around the lake. We also enjoyed the surrounding mountains and an afternoon in Vintgar Gorge.

Let me know if you are ready to take your next European vacation to this region before it becomes crowded and expensive!

Pictures and words can hardly describe our next stop that landed us in the Croatian region of Istria.

Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery is a secluded luxury wine estate in the Istrian countryside near Bale, surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old olive groves.

The atmosphere is quiet, sophisticated and understated, with a blend of traditional Istrian architecture and contemporary luxury. The property has rooms and suites as well as villas and residences, with extensive grounds that encourage guests to slow down and stay on property.
A major part of the experience is food and wine. Meneghetti produces its own wines and olive oils, with a winery and Wine Lounge on the estate. There is also the main Meneghetti Restaurant, the more casual outdoor Oliveto, and the Meneghetti Beach Club on the Adriatic.

There’s also a spa, pools, tennis, cycling and other activities, so it works particularly well for a few days of relaxing rather than sightseeing nonstop.

Our boat docked in a nearby bay on Hvar. We then ventured into town for a sunset drinks, dinner and a small hike to the fortress.

Hvar Town is a beautiful, lively historic town known for its Venetian architecture, stone streets, elegant waterfront, cafés, boutiques and vibrant harbor. Above the town sits Fortica Fortress, offering spectacular panoramic views over the red-tiled rooftops, harbor and nearby Pakleni Islands. It’s a wonderful mix of history, beauty and sophisticated island life.

Our second stop on our catamaran cruise in the country of Croatia was Vis. Vis is a charming, laid-back seaside town built around a beautiful natural harbor. It has stone houses, narrow streets, waterfront cafés and restaurants, with a distinctly authentic Mediterranean feel.

Enjoying this beautiful island with amazing friends is priceless!

Dreams really do come true. I am beyond grateful and honored to be joining the 2026–2027 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders. Thank you to every single person who cheered for, and believed in me throughout this journey. Extra love to @paige.elisee for being there every step of the way and holding my hand through it all. So excited for what’s ahead. Go Bucs! 🤍❤️🏴‍☠️

I am so proud of this girl!! As some of you were aware, Jordi has spent the past few weeks in auditions to dance for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Her journey was nothing short of insurmountable, but she never stopped believing in herself. Countless hours, endless determination, and pure passion brought her to this moment, and I could not be more proud of the strong, talented, resilient young woman she has become. Did you know she even missed walking her college graduation because she had an audition and Eric, Maddie, and I attended without her there?

I guess I have to find 3 hours to carve out on Sundays this coming fall.

I’m an NFL cheerleader/ dance mom!!! Go Buccaneers!

Happy Mother’s Day to me!

Thanks everyone for the support and those that were able to cheer her on in person while I was away in AZ at Pilates training.

Wow.. what a day!!!! Beyond proud!

My bucket list of hiking the Path of the Gods has been completed! My favorite guide in the region, Rosa, led us on this breathtaking journey. If you are on the Amalfi coast and want to see it at a different vantage point does pass up the opportunity. #awakenthesoultravel #hiking #pathofrhegods #amalficoastitaly #amalfi #italy #amalficoast #hikinwithfriends
