These are some of my favorite photos of 2026 so far, all lensed by me.

Realized how many of these memories never made it off my camera roll. I’m always documenting life, but looking through these reminded me just how grateful I am for the people, places, and memories in them. Swipe through to see a little archive of happy times that I didn’t want to leave in digital storage.

Mum

Taken at sunset during my sister’s wedding in Boracay. Earlier in the day, my mom told me she wanted a photo together, but amidst all the wedding duties, we hadn’t gotten one yet. Just as cocktail hour was ending, I grabbed my mom, told her to turn around, and caught this smile

Jason in Boracay

When my sister got married, Jason visited the Philippines for the first time. There’s something so special about bringing someone you met later in life back to where you grew up in, showing them your roots, and sharing the culture that shaped you.

Han in Nashville

At my sister’s reception in Nashville, cocktail hour got the best of Han and me. We started skipping through the open fields. As we sat down, Han goes “my sunglasses are gone.” Cut to us retracing our steps through a giant field. (We eventually found them)

“Men are Trash” - Mars, 2026

On the evening of my birthday, Mars walked past this pile of trash and said, “Take a photo of me!” We were all so confused, but right as the flash went off, he looked at the camera and said, “Men are trash.” We completely lost it.

Erica in Noah’s Kitchen

I think about Noah’s Kitchen at least once a month. It’s genuinely one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to, and being there immediately took me back to college. Back then, Erica and I would sit and talk about what we wanted our post-grad lives to look like. Coming back here in 2026 felt like such a full-circle moment. Here we are, actively working towards those goals and watching them unfold.

Silas in CDM

Back in April, Silas and I hung out in SoCal, spending our days yapping non-stop and going on endless, spontaneous food runs. I haven’t had this much fun in a while, and it was a sweet reminder to just live in the moment. We only met recently, but it’s funny how you can meet a fr

At What Cost (2023) - dance sequence   Logline: A dancer is forced to confront her trauma in the wake of her immigrant mother’s death and, in doing so, mends her strained relationship with her younger brother.  🎵What Was I Made For by Billie Eilish (this was what we actually used to choreograph and film on set / I do not own any rights to this song)   Shout out to the actress of Amelia @lindsay.vuong, Wen (Mom) @vivianleechicag, and the stunt dancer @ericafwu, who delivered this beautiful performance, & @bradyrwillis for co-choreographing and movement directing this sequence ❤️

WHAT PROGRESSIONS DO YOU USE?

This exercise on Combo Chair is often forgotten. One reason is that it is so challenging. Many find it unattainable either because of shoulder mobility or inability to hold legs in this position.

Try these progressions. If you have other progressions that have worked for you, please share in comments below. Or make a video; tag me and I will repost! Sharing knowledge is the best way to elevate our community

Feet on floor to feel safe and reduce challenge for upper body. Let your thighs carry some of the intensity.
.
Toes on floor with heels raised. Try placing very little weight on toes. Knowing you can quickly get support from feet and legs reduces the fear factor of your upper body not being able to control the pedals.
.
One leg bent and pressing down into floor. Other leg straight. Keep both sides of pelvis equally weighted on chair seat.
.
Finally this version with legs lifted out straight. @ericafwu is demonstrating beautifully.

🍅Believed it or not when we were writing our menu for junzi 君子食堂, the word “tomato egg” divided the kitchen. In northern Mandarin, “tomato” is 西红柿 which literally translates as “Western Red Persimmon”, but in most southern regions, the more common word for tomato is 番茄 which means “barbarian eggplant”😆 I’ve been looking for a way to explain this phenomenon, and Erica Wu @ericafwu and the gang did it perfectly (chefs kiss) Go watch their full north vs south Chinese series on TT!
