POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Every year, I spend thousands of dollars, put myself through an absurd amount of logistical gymnastics, and voluntarily move into one of the most formidable environments on earth.

And every year, I come home knowing exactly why I did it.

There is nowhere else I’ve found that gives me what this place does. Every Burn leaves me with lessons, experiences, ideas, friendships, and moments I genuinely don’t think I could find anywhere else.

No matter how many times I come back, I’m somehow completely amazed all over again. The scale of the creativity. The generosity. The absurdity. The beauty. The things human beings are capable of building, creating, giving, and becoming when we decide the normal rules don’t have to apply.

I feed off the inspiration I get here for the entire year that follows. It resets something in me. It reminds me to think bigger, go deeper, create more boldly, love more freely, and question the limits I’ve quietly accepted in my day-to-day life.

This year I had the honor of leading the incredible team behind @blackrockcityshabbat and helping bring thousands of people together in deep playa for another Friday night of music, prayer, food, dancing, connection, and community. There is so much I want to say about that experience and about the people who made it possible that it deserves its own post- so I’ll be sharing that soon.

Trying to summarize a Burn always feels impossible. There are too many stories, too many tiny moments, too many people who changed the experience simply by crossing my path at exactly the right time.

So for now, thank you.

Thank you to every person I danced with, laughed with, worked with, learned from, shared a meal with, or was lucky enough to connect with somewhere out there.

I came home exhausted, inspired, grateful, and already missing a city that no longer exists.

Only 357 days until the Man burns again!! ❤️‍🔥

We all congregated for Shabbat and then right before they surprised us with a fully Jewish wedding…chuppah and all!

Shout out to @blackrockcityshabbat for organizing this!

This was the one event I went into Burning Man knowing I had to go to

Everything else I left to chance

And I almost missed it if it wasn’t for running into @spivak at a Hebrew וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ art piece when he told me he was on his way to Shabbat

Then they surprised us with a wedding and chuppah

If you ever go to Burning Man don’t miss out on Shabbat on the Playa
