a year ago we wrapped production on @ericaserotica 💖 I genuinely have so many feelings and continuously am unable to express them. How is it possible to be so nostalgic for something that was only a year ago? I love this movie, I’m so grateful for it and for every person who brought it to life. I said it when we wrapped then and I still say it now, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop talking about this film

one year ago today we wrapped production on our short film @ericaserotica 🩷 after five shoot days, principal photography came to a close at 6am after an overnight exterior shoot day. Two weekends of filming, over 90 cast/crew members on our largest day, and so much early 2000s nostalgia.

This film would not have been possible without every member of our cast and crew, and every female filmmaker, artist, and friend who contributed to our girlhood-centric vision. Thank you for supporting and following along on our journey!

—Reviewing Erica’s Erotica by @alisannavincent @adodgeprod @lohizojaz @martinishot.films

This short film was created by a woman filmmaker who aspire to make films for women!💖 I really enjoyed watching this short film, it reminded me of my favorite films like Lady Bird and the Virgin Suicides. They are also entering the film festival circuit, you can support the creators by following their account @ericaserotica 💐🫶

immune out at midnight!!!

it was always a dream to have an original song at the end of @ericaserotica we wanted something that encapsulated girlhood, coming of age, and the lush world we’d created, and @ivy.stokes was the artist for that. Ivy, I am so grateful for your talent, time, and the touch you brought to the film and this song 💖

Your music had a solidified place in my playlist while writing this film, which makes it not only fitting but of my wildest dreams that you crafted something so perfect for our story. Getting to direct this music video was the cherry on top of this magical sundae ✨

thank you for joining us on our journey and bringing your music to it 🩷 Listen to “Immune” and watch the MV when it drops tonight!!

The minute after my very first spotting session with the @ericaserotica team, I wrote Immune. Then @saxy.zach worked his magic on it. Then I got to step into @alisannavincent’s world and shoot the dreamiest music video for it. Now said song + video are OUT AT MIDNIGHT!!!💋💘
