A design that is equal parts playful, timeless, and polished ✨ At @cortlandatmclean, refined details meet whimsical patterns to create a design that boasts personality in every corner. Each material selection was carefully curated to define this space as a sophisticated haven. Layered textured finishes, bold wallcoverings, and an array of cozy muted tones give this palette a depth and character that invites you to settle in and relish the inviting atmosphere. #TimelessElegance #DefineTheSpace #Leasing #Sophisticated #PurposefulDesign

When we moved into a bigger space in 2019, we could have created a typical furniture showroom focused on testing furniture. Instead, we opted for a studio focused on hospitality. We know there are a lot of gritty details to cover for our clients when it comes to the procurement and install of their projects. We also know the gritty details are infinitely more palatable when there’s a solid relationship underneath it all. So we serve up drinks at the Bar, party on the Veranda, and are always on the lookout for a chance to host.
Thanks to Tara with Bridge Collective along with Cortina, Style Nations, and Erica Shamrock for working alongside our team to create a memorable evening of designing leather totes! And thank you to all our guests for spending your evening with us!

One of my favorite parts of the design process is playing with materials. New samples arrived from several vendors, so naturally I had to pull everything out and start playing. Textiles, wallcoverings, stone, wood, color—moving things around, trying combinations, taking things away and seeing what sparks an idea. Sometimes there’s a project behind it. Sometimes I’m simply exploring. Either way, this is one of my favorite places to get lost for a while. And it got me thinking about why designing without a project might actually be an important part of the process. I wrote a little more about that on the blog — link in bio. #michellesilbaughdesigns #materialpalette #interiordesigninspo #bydesign

Why work with an interior designer? Access. Yesterday I attended a hospitality design trade show in San Francisco, @newh.sf, and one thing kept coming up in nearly every conversation: “Yes, we can customize that.” Color. Scale. Material. Finish. Pattern. Artwork. Even an entirely original design. One wallcovering company I really connected with, @astekinc , had created a pattern specifically for San Francisco, filled with details from the city. Another, @ericashamrocktextiles @lookwalls showed me their collections and essentially said: use these for inspiration—then create what you want. That is where design gets exciting. Working with a designer isn’t simply about choosing beautiful things. Designers have access to trade-only resources, manufacturers, craftspeople and makers—and often possibilities you wouldn’t know existed. That access can mean preferred trade pricing. But it can also mean something I think is even more valuable: Individuality. Instead of designing from only what’s readily available, we can ask, What would make this space distinctly yours? Your history. Your interests. Your surroundings. Your favorite colors. A piece of artwork. A memory. A story. And then find the people who can help us make it. Good design shouldn’t make your home look like everyone else’s. It should make it look more like you. Great meeting @mullanlighting , @kriskadecor @cfstinsonstudio and @treecraftfurniture as well! #CustomDesign#DesignInspiration #TradeOnly #PersonalizedInteriors #newhsf

Sentinel Furniture Group manufactured both indoor and outdoor furniture for the Courtyard Orlando, so the materials and finishes read as a single continuous property rather than two separate scopes stitched together. Warm oak and stone run through the lobby, with blue hues carried into the upholstery, and the same palette and construction quality follow guests outside to the fire pit lounge, the pool deck, and every guest room patio. The lobby is built around distinct nooks and pockets, each with its own seating style. We manufactured the casegoods and upholstery throughout: barstools on metal frames with upholstered seating over a hardwood base, and lounge seating that mixes aluminum frames with solid wood casegoods, built for daily commercial traffic. Outside, our engineers hand-strapped the lounge cords, aluminum frames wrapped and knotted piece by piece rather than run through a machine, carried through the fireplace seating, the ottomans, tables, and bases. The umbrellas span 10 feet tall in custom Sunbrella fabrics. Behind all of it was one point of contact managing eleven separate COM fabric selections across six furniture types and seven mills, tracking memos, pricing, and shipping in real time. Designed by Design Poole. Manufactured by Sentinel Furniture Group. #hospitalitydesign #contractfurniture #hotellobby #hospitalityinteriors #customfurniture

The Garden Room pares the palette back to what matters. Warm oak, sun-washed neutrals drawn from Napa, and carefully placed touches of Mondavi red allow the landscape to remain the room's strongest presence. Robert Mondavi Winery | Napa, California Interiors @bamoinc Principal Designer @michael_c_booth Property @robertmondavi @constellationbrands Architecture @aidlindarlingdesign Landscape Architecture @sdisf Construction @cellomaudru Lighting consultant @ejalightingdesign Photographer @adampottsphoto Videographer @coleconnermedia As featured in @sfchronicle @wineenthusiast @galeriemagazine @robbreport @7x7bayarea @spacesmag @upscalelivingmg #HospitalityDesign #LuxuryInteriors #NapaValley #RobertMondaviWinery #BAMO

We are proud to share final photography of The Belle, one of our team’s favorite projects to date. Inspiration was drawn from the building’s 1920s heritage, honoring its history with thoughtful, nostalgic details. At the same time, The Belle has a polished, sophisticated feel that brings a touch of luxury and eccentricity. #interiordesign #hospitality

Built on Partnership.  Finished with Purpose.   Great hospitality design is rarely defined by one dramatic moment.   It’s created through hundreds of intentional decisions working together in perfect balance.   The warmth of beautifully crafted casegoods. The richness of layered textures. The harmony between paint, fabric, carpet, lighting, and every carefully considered finish. When each element is thoughtfully selected and expertly executed, a space doesn’t just look beautiful, it feels effortless.   The newly photographed guestrooms and public spaces at Delta Hotels Halifax are a celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and the power of restraint. Sophisticated materials, timeless detailing, and a calm, balanced palette create an experience that welcomes guests from the moment they arrive.   A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners who helped bring this vision to life: • BermanFalk for exceptional custom guestroom casegoods, where precision and craftsmanship elevate even the simplest details. • Erica Shamrock for providing beautiful, richly textured fabrics that add warmth, comfort, and sophistication throughout the hotel. • Royal Thai for stunning custom carpets that establish rhythm, movement, and elegance throughout the corridors and meeting spaces. • RHB for exceptional custom mirrors and decorative lighting that enhance every space with visual interest and timeless style.   Design is never about a single material or finish.   It’s about the balance between them all.

Frank is loving these Fauxs from @ericashamrocktextiles as much as I am. #veganinteriordesign #vegandesigner #designdogs PS- rug in image IS wool, but it's older than me and I aquired it long before starting FoH. Again, I'm a vegan, not a tyrant, I will reuse beautiful pieces you already own.
