For everything we don’t have, there is still so much to be grateful for in what we do have. ❤️

And one thing I will never take for granted is having good people around me. People who love, support, encourage, and simply show up.

I’m so grateful for my people. 🥰

Love you, E! Have an AMAZING day! 🤍✨

From being a 9 year old girl who couldn’t wait to sing in the youth & mass choir, to teaching and directing the adult choir at 15, going off to Tougaloo College and using my gifts to assist the freshman gospel choir, to returning home and beginning my “professional” bgv career by supporting some of Chicago’s greatest gospel groups, choirs and artists! (S/O to my brothers from the Chi who represented us WELL!!! @marcuskincy @iamcarsonbarnes )

This experience of witnessing one of the most revered musical savants this world will ever know create a masterpiece for Black Church Music will be something I will cherish for the rest of my life! There are so many reasons why @kirkfranklin is called the G.O.A.T. And soon we’ll have another reason, the Church Music project will be an instant classic! TRUST ME!!

Thank you @demwms for inviting me to be apart of this historic moment in time!! Serving with you at our home church has been one of the biggest blessings in this journey of ministry! Thank you for being consistent and covering us as a leader! You are truly 1 of 1!!

To my new fam “The Crew” aka “Home Team” each one of you are amazing musicians and I’m grateful to have shared this experience with you all!
*If I miss a tag… please help me out ❤️*

To the “12” no words can describe the foundation you built for us not just for this project but for being the standard for all bgvs 💫

To @callmedeeda THANK YOU for being you and being my friend! You are literally everyone’s favorite for a reason!!! You made it your business to cover the altos and made sure we had everything we needed to be prepared!

To my @nailsthatspeakstudio team and clients THANK YOU for your flexibility and understanding as I adjusted appointments and schedules to prepare for the recording! Your support means the world to me!

It’s amazing how God reminds us how He never forgets us and that every promise He has spoken WILL come to pass!
Mom Z, you were right 🕊️❤️🥺

Y’all…yesterday owes me NOTHING. The connections made, the friends bonded with, the people met, the songs sang, the moment experienced, the worship, the praise. Nothing but God opened these doors for me and this gift.

From BEGINNING this in October to right now, top tier. I’m blessed to have new family and blessed to be able to have this gift and share it with y’all.

Kirk @kirkfranklin , love you to pieces. Friends, I love every single one of you. I can’t wait till we get to sing together again.💕

Glory to God.
