Finding Strong. Words by @apemanstrong
I will not break. I cannot be broken i feel the weight of the world against me, but my confidence will not waver. I will not be shaken. This is when the best of comes to the surface. I will battle. I will fight. I will endure. I will show you my strength. I will inflict the force of my will upon this. You cannot bring a night upon me that I will not survive. As the darkness eclipses hope, I will shine brighter. You can measure many things, but not my heart. So bring the fire, bring the wrath, bring the flood, and i will stand. I will survive it all. My destiny will never end here.ot will end at my choosing. Quiet the skeptics. Cast out those who lack faith. I will fight this war independent of everyone before I will give a single inch. I will be victorious. FINDING STRONG when all hope is lost is the essence of who I am. [MUST READ] Long story short... After losing a very competitive Mint 400 race.. The guy in the foreground tried to pick a fight with the 6X WEC/ UFC Bantamweight Champion @dominickcruz.. Obliviously not knowing Doms credentials the guy proceeds to talk sh*t.. Dom being the bigger person just stares at the guy like a vicious put bull!! 😂😂😂 @ericdelfierro (Legendary MMA Coach) breaks up the situation.. Crazy part about this story, The guy will never know Eric saved his life.. #UFCChampion #DominickCruz #Legend #UFC #MMA

THROWBACK Ken Shamrock's Lion's Den Submission Academy pics '99-2002 & 2004 my roots in MMA & Submission Wrestling go way back. If you know anything about MMA you will know who these fighters are. The Lion's Den was once one of the top MMA schools in the world. The Lion's Den bred some of the who is who in MMA, legends like Ken Shamrock, Frank Shamrock, Guy Metzger, Pete Williams, Jerry Bolander, Vernon "Tiger" White, Tony Galindo, Wade Shipp among many other great fighters. These fighters fought all over the world for the biggest organizations and the biggest baddest names in MMA in UFC, PRIDE, KING OF PANCRASE & VALE TUDO. I had the honor to train w them and to fight under the Lion's Den, these guys not only were Coaches but also family while the time I was training there, they kicked our asses daily but we learned so much from them I would always be grateful to them. These guys are now retired and some have been inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, some are still active Coaches training the biggest names in MMA and world champions for UFC, Bellator, Invicta and other organizations. Never forget where you came from and the ppl who helped you along the way 🙏

This was a special one for me. Getting to chat with the mastermind behind my all-time favorite fighter was a true honor. Eric is a great coach and even better human, a mix that comes effortlessly for him. He also makes some phenomenal analogies that may or may not relate to video games... 😄

Thank you again, EDF! 🙌🙌 Check out the story on BJPenn.com (link in bio!)
