𝙊𝙐𝙏 𝙏𝙊𝘿𝘼𝙔 are two truly special live versions of my songs, captured in Malibu a month after we finished tracking my album.
We recorded in the main tracking room. I was handed a selection of remarkable vintage guitars to choose from. The 1966 Gibson J-45 ADJ moulded its way into my hands to be captured with a vintage Sony C-37A microphone.
It was a quiet Sunday, the rooms filled with morning light. Everyone was in good spirits. The only pressure I felt came from the weight of the place itself—not stage fright, but a quiet hope that whatever I played will live up to those four walls. It was a strange feeling, equal parts humbling and inspiring.
After wrapping up the session, we celebrated with a few rounds of pool on the very table appearing in Martin Scorsese’s The Last Waltz.
It’s so interesting, how much these songs have evolved since then. Please love and appreciate that moment in time with me and listen far and wide!

ROBERT FRANCIS - Phantasmagoria
Eco Mix Vinyl
2026 - Aeronaut Records
Fav Song : State Line

This is one of my albums of the year. Another hidden gem and a new inner journey from Robert Francis.

What a joy it is to hear that beautiful, mysterious voice and his signature folk sound again.

Phantasmagoria is a masterpiece in my eyes: intimate, nostalgic, and deeply atmospheric. It unfolds slowly, drawing you into a cinematic world from start to finish.

Special mention goes to State Line, Black Mark, The Mountain, and Someone Who Lived There, which completely won me over. And I can’t leave out the wonderfully folk-driven Time Release, a song that reminds me of Robert’s early albums.

A record that stays with you long after the final note.
