POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

These are the top ten most expensive hip hop vinyl records from 1980 according to Discogs. Early hip hop records like these unfortunately don’t get the reverence they deserve from the music community and I’ve always had an appreciation for them. Some of these are legendary like “Space Rap” by Danny Renée (the first hip hop record from Atlanta), “Rappin With Mr. Magic” by Mr. Magic and “Million Dollar Legs” by The Outlaw Four (Early Connecticut Hip Hop). Without some of these records amongst the other classics from the early disco-rap era, hip hop as we know it wouldn’t be what it later became. What do you guys think of this list? Let me know in the comments #hiphop #undergroundhiphop #hiphopdj #80shiphop #discorap
