25 years! Before the Arrowverse, before the MCU and before Heroes there was Smallville. It may not have been the first superhero show but on October 16th 2001, Smallville took superhero storytelling to a new level. With a motto of "No tights, no flights" the series was a grounded take on Superman's origin and featured a cast full of Canadian up-and-comers! #Smallville #TomWelling #KristinKreuk #MichaelRosenbaum #EricaDurance #EricJohnson #LauraVandervoort

Tomorrow marks 25 YEARS of SMALLVILLE! ❤️💙

When I was a kid watching this show live every week, it brought me some of the greatest joy of my life. I remember sitting in front of the TV, daydreaming about what it would be like to one day meet and hang out with the cast. Little did I know those childhood dreams would actually come true.

Two years ago, I discovered there was a cruise dedicated to Smallville, and everything changed. Getting to spend time with the cast, share excursions with them, and create memories I never thought possible has meant more to me than words can describe.

Now, two cruises later, I’m getting ready to WORK at A Salute to Smallville in Nashville. If you had told that little kid watching Smallville 25 years ago that this would be his life someday, he never would have believed you.

This show has given me so much more than entertainment. It’s given me unforgettable experiences, incredible friendships, and memories I’ll cherish forever.

25 years later, Smallville is still bringing me the same joy it did when I was a kid.

Some dreams really do come true. ❤️💙

Somebody saaaaave me! 🎶

As I get closer to my 35th birthday, I’ve been reflecting a lot on life, growth, and everything that has helped shape who I am. With the 25th anniversary of Smallville, it feels like the perfect time to put some of that into words.

Growing up with DiGeorge syndrome, life was never something I took for granted. There were challenges, obstacles, and moments where I could have let life make me bitter — but instead, I’ve always tried to choose positivity, keep moving forward, and believe there was still something bigger ahead for me.

That’s part of why Smallville has always meant so much to me. At its core, it was never just about superpowers — it was about becoming who you’re meant to be, pushing through struggles, and finding strength even when life feels heavy. That message has stayed with me for years.

As I head into 35, I feel grateful. Grateful for the lessons, the struggles, the growth, and the people and stories that helped me along the way. Smallville was one of those stories. It gave me something to connect to, something to believe in, and a reminder that even when the journey is hard, there’s still purpose in it.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: your story may not be easy, but it can still be meaningful, powerful, and full of light.
Here’s to 25 years of Smallville, to the kid I used to be, to the person I’ve become, and to continuing forward with hope, strength, and positivity.
