Last night after teaching, a student waited patiently while I finished talking with and helping another dancer. When she finally came over, I assumed she needed some technical help,I was honestly a little confused because her technique had looked so strong in class.

Instead, she quietly asked, “Can I take a picture with you?”

I was completely stunned. 🥹 I started crying because I truly wasn’t prepared for such a sweet, simple question.

Sometimes we don’t realize how much we mean to our students. Moments like this remind me that teaching is about so much more than technique. It’s about connection, encouragement, and making dancers feel seen. Thank you…I’ll remember this little moment for a very long time. So I thought I’d share a little about the passion behind it all!💖😌✨🩰🧑🏻‍🩰🦄

Sharing the stage with 💫 @b_forrest_b and the dancers of 🩰@perfectpointedance is a joy.

Watching these young artists bring this ballet to life reminds me why I fell in love with ballet in the first place!! 😍

Big thanks to the incredible Ms. Chloe for staging, rehearsing & even making the dancers headpieces. They are blessed to have you @chloegrove1980 🤍

💝🎄To each of you who has made this Nutcracker season possible, Thank you🫶! Without your support we would have no reason to work hard, without the hard work of others we would have no inspiration, and without inspiration…how will we grow?

Nutcracker is such a beautiful tradition for family, and as a dancer a time of personal growth. For me this year was different, performing with my students + having a coach who truly knows how to pull me out of my comfort zone in the most comforting way. Thank you 🎀 @anastasiia__rodina for your guidance it was so much fun to create and dig deep in this process. To Ms Belle 🎀 @belle_maturo and Ms Chloe 🎀 @chloegrove1980 congratulations on a successful SOLD OUT show, it was such an honor to be a part of your beautiful Nutcracker and to dance alongside our students ✨🙌🫶 @perfectpointedance was unforgettable! 💋

📸 @jennieod thank you!
