POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Great night, great people, amazing topics. We are studying the book called a course in miracles. Lots of insights regarding the associations we make to things, including our ourselves, as being bad or good versus simply just being. How each and every moment of interaction with another human is not by chance. And how we show up in those moments can have much bigger impact than we could ever imagine. We are the ripple in the pond .. the butterfly effect. So glad to be here on this rock called earth. #zilkerpark #acourseinmiracles #bookclub #prayer

Feeling is Healing

I’ve cried more in the last 12 months than the last 25 years of my life…combined. Well, excluding when I was an infant and toddler…

The old me would be embarrassed to admit to crying. The present me says bring it on 🫡

I’ve shed immense layers of guilt, shame, grief, anger, resentment, frustration…all heavy emotions I’ve been carrying for years and years.

It’s not “Normal”, especially as a man, to feel feelings, at least in our sick upside down society.

The truth is that feeling emotions is as natural as breathing. We’ve just learned to suppress it, downplay it, reject it, and disregard it. We’ve managed to forget that we are energetic beings whose very essence is to FEEL. You cannot experience joy without sorrow.

We live in a society that will tell you it’s not manly to cry, to feel, or to be emotional. Unlearning that, and remembering our true essence, is the hero’s journey. It’s different for everyone, but it’s similar in that it’s a journey of letting go of resistance to these feelings we are told not to feel.

The beauty is that as soon as the feelings begin to flow, space is made to create. You gain alignment, and the Universe conspires to fulfill your Highest wishes.

surround yourself with strong men and women who know how to feel. It’s healing, after all 😁💚🧘

Every moment of this New Year’s portal was medicine—a 20-hour ceremony filled with healing laughter, authentic expression, deep connection, release, and an overwhelming amount of love.

I felt truly seen, valued, and appreciated by all these incredible beings— for both my physical and spiritual beauty, my magic and power, and everything else that makes me uniquely me. Thank you @niaperezherrera @trinidaddeluz @carissajohnsen @thevibesdealer_ @jason.belisha @ericjpetro @chriswasha and others who played a role in this epic, healing experience. You are all beautiful, powerful medicine🙏🏽🧡

In 2024, I became a student of myself—immersed in the journey of discovering and embracing all that is Kayla. It was a year of constant learning, many challenges, and difficult lessons…weaved through moments of connection, joy, and LOVE. 2024 brought the profound gift of truly seeing, knowing, and loving every part of me…then expanding by letting go of people, habits, and old versions of myself…along with the name Kayla (more on that story later lol)

She is sweet and childlike (yes, I’m claiming it—sweet!). She is a nurturer. She is wild…SAVAGE. She is the wise old woman.

She is Maiden, Mother, Enchantress, and Crone.

I am now BEYOND excited for ALL the abundance I KNOW is manifesting this year.

Hello, 2025!
Let me introduce you to…

Life is your movie, let it play out and live through it, flowing like water, and knowing that everything that happens is part of the plot, and you are the main character.

When one door closes, another opens! Life is like seasons. There is always something new, a new experience, a new emotion, or a new lesson. You, indeed, never pack up a home because home is where the heart is💚
