RE-INTRO THREE : The one and only @ericlubamusic 👽

Ever since we met Luba, we have been in awe listening to him on the keys, adding beautiful color and texture to any song thrown his way. Whether it is on Rhodes, piano, clav, b3, any synth or key instrument on earth, he is the guy for the job. A creative, down to earth and hilarious individual, we wouldn’t sound the way we do without this human.

He is also an incredible studio engineer! He recorded and mixed our LP at his studio, More Noise And Sounds.

We luv u Luba 💛

I sought out this project to challenge myself to capture my music in a raw, not overly-produced way. the 3 songs on this EP have a different flavor than the studio versions, and have a sense of aliveness that is so refreshing. I hope you take a listen and love it as much as I do 🫶
It was so fun and authentic to record this in my actual living room as well. big thank you to Daniel for transforming my space and widening my vision, making a little DIY dream I had into something much more glamorous. Please check out the full videos on YouTube as well as the audio, all links in my bio 💚

Flop, flop, flop, flop!

THE FLOP (LIVE) IS OUT TODAY. GO STEAM IT PLEASE.

My intro into the band @goldleadermusic was via a text message from @thezachjackson letting me know that he had recorded a few tunes with Will, Luba, and Thomas at @colorredmusic and he wanted to know if I would like throw some horn lines on them.

Those two tunes were TIGER’S EYE and THE FLOP.

I composed sax melodies for both songs and then went to the studio to lay them down.

This is why THE FLOP will always have a special place in my heart.

I hope you all enjoy the live version from our album debut show at @cervantesmasterpiece

More LIVE GOLD LEADER to come. Stay tuned.
