What an incredible evening (830+ in attendance!) celebrating the 43rd Annual Silver & Turquoise Ball benefiting the Phoenix Indian Center! 🙏🏽

This marked my 18th year as the event’s live show producer. It’s been an honor to watch the Ball grow in attendance, production, and, most importantly, fundraising impact for our urban Native community.

A highlight was having Arizona Cardinals legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald as Event Chair. His live auction experience raised a record-breaking $60,000!

Live production takes nearly a year of planning, countless cues, and plenty of unexpected pivots! I’m grateful for the talented people who alongside me to bring it all together.

Huge thanks to the Encore AV crew; our emcee, Emmy Award-winning journalist Carey Peña; her Inspired Media 360 team for the powerful videos; and auctioneer Anna Aja for bringing the energy…and the $$$!

Thank you to our Diamond Presenting Sponsor and host, Casino Arizona/Talking Stick Resort and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Special appreciation to Pearleen Tablado for making the resort experience exceptional!

What a lineup: Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, Emcee One (Marcus Guinn), Kahara Hodges, Eric Michael Hernandez, Indigenous Enterprise (Kenneth Shirley), DJ Tribal Touch (Shawn Martinez), and Rachel Villa!

Chef Pyet DeSpain, winner of Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef, delivered an outstanding Indigenous-inspired dinner, including her Cacao & Coffee Rubbed Bison Ribeye!

Congratulations to Bernadine Burnette, Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Councilwoman and former President, recipient of the 2026 Leon Grant Spirit of the Community Award!

Most of all, congratulations to the Phoenix Indian Center! Thank you to CEO Jolyana Begay-Kroupa, Board President Sheila Morago, Bree, Elicia, Sarah, Shenise, Taiya, and the entire staff, board, and volunteers.

Next year, the Center celebrates 80 years of serving and empowering urban Native communities. What a legacy!

Here’s to 18 years of memories, partnerships, and the privilege of helping bring this special evening to life over the years!

Another fun night with friends and amazing food at @chefpyet’s supper club. This one was Western themed and with a corn-inspired dinner. I’m glad I got to share it with @patriciariggen and @catrionamckenzie. Thank you to @siyowin and her partner for hosting us all.

A little late on this one, but I had to drop the Santa Fe Indian Market recap. 😂🔥

Santa Fe was one hell of a time. It was dope seeing everybody, catching up with old friends, meeting new people, and just getting to hang out with so many good folks.

A lot of laughs, good conversations, good energy, and plenty of memories made. Definitely one of those trips where you come home already looking forward to the next one.

We’re still working through all the footage from Santa Fe too. 😂 If we interviewed you while we were out there, your video is coming soon. We’ve got a lot to get through, but we’ll be dropping them pretty soon!

Santa Fe, you were dope. Until next time. 🪶🔥
