The 2023 World Junior Champion and current Challenger Series rankings leader has battled back from health challenges in incredible style, claiming wins at the US Open of Surfing and the Pantín Classic to secure her place on the 2027 Championship Tour!

Back in 2005, surf media headlines read: “Wildcard @stephaniegilmore 17-year-old school student, has gone on a RAMPAGE at the Roxy Pro, taking down two world champs to win her first CT event.”

Fast forward to 2026 — with 6 previous Gold Coast Pro wins, 8 World Titles under her belt, returning from a 2 year retirement - nothings changed but everything’s changed - she found her flow slowly n then the RAMPAGE came naturally. In front of a massive hometown crowd, our undisputed Queen of Snapper laid down the law & took a record 7th event win at the @wsl @originalbonsoy 2026 Gold Coast Pro.

Our Groms absolutely frothed all event, proudly escorting Steph along the shoreline with Snapper flags raised high through wild crowds n epic scenes — the biggest spectator turnout the event has ever seen - something etched in their memories forever.

Stunner of a day all round - Snapper Rocks Junior Club R3 2026 Sunday at the local. Hands down best day of surfing we’ve witnessed, our Groms laid it down hard amongst one of the most intensely crowded days.
