POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We began with a monster. We ended with a man in a mirror.

The Atlantis Awards has completed a four-film exploration of director Jake Lewis and the Lewis Brothers, studying their work in reverse chronological order—from an elaborate creature-horror production back to an intimate, five-minute encounter between two performers.

Four films. Four distinct creative challenges.

🎬 REMAIN CALM (2026) — The Smile Has to Hold

When showing fear becomes dangerous, every smile becomes an act of survival. Comedy and horror occupy the same expression.

🎭 THE COURT JESTER (2024) — The Person in Front of Him

Behind the spectacle of celebrity and television production, a simple act of recognition becomes something profoundly human.

🎥 THE COWBOY & THE SAMURAI (2023) — The Story Is Not the Man

Hollywood mythology collides with the people behind it, exploring the complicated distance between recognizing a famous figure and believing in the person on screen.

🪞 ROBIN (2021) — Not Anymore

Jamie Costa and Sarah Murphree deliver a remarkable emotional encounter in a single room, where humor, grief, and performance become inseparable—and a familiar voice returns carrying something entirely different.

Each film stands on its own. Together, they offer a fascinating look at a filmmaker's developing command of performance, space, rhythm, and storytelling—and the creative instincts that were present from the beginning.

We approached these films not as exercises in ranking or reviewing, but as opportunities to understand the decisions that make cinema work.

All four Atlantis Case Studies are now published. Begin as we did, with REMAIN CALM.

35 is right around the corner, and I'm feeling nothing but gratitude. 🙏🏾

This year came with real trials, and just as many blessings. I went out on my first nationwide tour with Passion Pit, played with Cash Cobain at his Grammy Museum performance, and helped build Yerr On The Street into something I'm proud of.

I got to share stages and studios with so many gifted musicians, and every one of them made me better.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for me, believed in me, and stood next to me through it all. Here's to another year around the sun. 🎹

the tour of my literal dreams!!!!! it’s a very special thing… knowing that it was even possible for me to pull off a headline tour independently. to each and every person who came to these shows, I am so unbelievably grateful. this was the goal all along!!! since I first opened on a tour when I was 17, since I first started writing songs when I was 12, since I first started playing the piano when I was four… this is my whole life and you all make it possible 🩷 I LOVE YOU!

thank you to…

@sheilaharrismakeup for the constant glitter experimentation and for being my bestie on/off the road.

@madisonleblanc for planning these shows with me. you are an angel.

my sweet mama @tiffanwilder1 who never misses a show and is my true lifeline.

my drummer boy @stevepatrick for bringing new life to every song I make and lighting up every room.

@ericscullin for ensuring that we put on the very best show every single night and providing us with facts about historical landmarks along the way.

@samuelpianoman for making us sound all sorts of pretty every single night and being the best new addition to our tour family.

@jessedeflorio for wearing a hundred hats and still being his artful/talented self. you make us look damn good.
