Thanks to everyone who came out to the @331_club last night– that was a blast! I’ll be sharing some images from that occasion before too long.

First, though, I want to announce that our next show– in the Action Squad Beta trio deployment of myself, @mamafaeriemusic and Dan Gaarder– will be opening for the one and only @ericzieg at @bryantlakebowl on Sunday, Rocktober 19th at 7 pm!

Originally hailing from Burnsville, MN, Ziegenhagen’s wanderings have currently landed him out in Portland, OR, because that’s how cool he is. His recent Steve Albini-produced album “Second Husband” is an insightful, winsome piece of work that I think you’d better listen to.

And of course, I’d be remiss not to mention that Eric is the original author of the song “Is That Star Wars?”, as performed by 10 Items in concert and on wax.

So if you’re in the Twin Cities, you’re not gonna wanna miss this. See you there, I hope!

Playing fall songs back in the old country: October 19 at Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis, 7 p.m., with special guest Ten Items or Fewer (appearing in the Action Squad Beta trio formation of Mike Hallenbeck, guitarist Dan Gaarder and harmony singer Rhiannon Fiskradatz).

Walk, MTC, drive, or fly in! Couldn’t be happier to be back.

More info on all involved at @10orfewer @bryantlakebowltheater and right heeeeeere.
