Huge thank you to @sprucecoffeenhv for hosting our Improv Burlesque show last month! And thank you to all of our gorgeous audience members who braved below-freezing temperatures to bring the energy, support, and song selections! The first photo features AJ, reminding our community about the hotline for New Haven Immigrants Coalition’s rapid response team (854) 666-4472. 🚫🧊

shifting light, rolling clouds, vast salt marsh, woods, beach, and BIRDS 😍 ! we loved our time at ct audubon’s milford point, and how you all captured the experience.

if you enjoyed visiting today, consider supporting @ctaudubon and the work they do to protect this habitat and its many residents 🦆🦅🐦🐰🐟

thanks all for coming out—see you next time!

our sketches from this afternoon are a window into the astounding array of things to see at the @newhavenmuseum! from paintings and sculptures to a bike, dollhouse, grasshopper, eagle heads, oystering things, clocks, a model ship, and so much more. a lot of us also found inspiration in the building itself, with its dramatic rotunda, arched doorways and intricate woodwork.

thanks all for coming out on a chilly spring day, and huge thanks to the museum for hosting us and providing this wonderful space for the community.

please dm if we didn't tag you :)

one whole year of sketching with you all, celebrated this sunny afternoon at the canal dock boathouse on new haven's long wharf! we were joined by folks who have been with us since the very start, others coming out for their first meetup, and everyone in between. we are so happy and grateful to share time and art together with you each week. thank you ! 💙🙏 🎉

Making these flowers has truly been a LABOR of love, but I'm so excited with how these boutonnieres are coming out! Sincerely loving the process even though it's been a lot.

(Peep the @evilqueen candle next to the boutonnieres in the mini-vase, & the @sugarxnova print and @erik_kick's dancing frogs on the wall!!)

The roses are from Natagor Finlayson, and you can get the pattern here if you want to crochet your own: https://www.etsy.com/listing/722557949/long-stem-rose-crochet-pattern-crochet
(I can send the link to you too if you ask, lol)

Sending love out into the universe because goodness knows everyone needs a little bit of it right now 💜

When an amazing artist friend asks for someone to do a challenge with them, you say yes please! @erik_kick put out the call & I responded with (something that probably should be trademarked for me by this point) 👀!
These are for the #doublememechallenge of Kubo from Kubo and the Two Strings. It's one of his favorite movies, and it was a blast doing this with him! Thanks Erik!!

Did a art challenge with my friend @smudgepunk . For the #doublememechallenge I picked one of my favorite movies to draw #kuboandthetwostrings

Very under appreciate film and studio if you can rent it where you are I highly recommend it.

If you have a favorite movie people should watch leave it in the comments.

3 cheers for one of our most successful volunteer events yet! A crew headed up to @highhopestr to prepare for the big Holiday Market. Sheds were repainted, lawns were landscaped, and pizza was devoured.
