Thank you to @visionaryfilmstudios for this incredible affirmation - I am Very Important 🥹 - and this super informative video on the importance of set design and wardrobe in filmmaking!

This was the first time I ever got to meet @erikalynnlewandowski in person, and it was so hard to be mean to her 😭 but such a fun and collaborative shoot, nonetheless. I think this was Film 3 of the 4 educational films that were shot that day, and I always learn so much while on these sets. If you're a budding filmmaker like me, you should check out their @youtube channel for more instructional videos.

🚨BIG NEWS🚨

We’ve kept this 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗱 and 𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 for a while, but it’s time to 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 - Dirty Laundry: Reloaded, an all-new animated series, is in the works! 🌀✨

Inspired by iconically wacky 90s cartoons, this 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻-𝗼𝗳𝗳 series follows Kyle and Eric as they tumble through more magical misadventures, stuck in a world where truth-telling was just the beginning and every new pile of laundry comes with more than a few 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘀 to 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝘁. With over-the-top animation, slapstick humor, and a nostalgic throwback style, this new series is 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 of laughs!

We seriously couldn't be more excited to announce Dirty Laundry: Reloaded on this not at all suspicious date… 👀

Special thanks to Dirty Laundry fan, @loptoons3.0, for creating this incredible and very real artwork (not AI-generated) for our very not real announcement.

Dirty Laundry is Writer/Director @rockywalls’ first narrative feature film. “Rocky Walls’ Dirty Laundry is a real change of pace. Is it any good?” asks Pramit Chatterjee, Rotten Tomatoes critic, before answering his own question in this glowing review.

Here are a few of our favorite quotes from Chatterjee’s review:

“…thanks to Walls’ Richard Linklater-esque writing, the dialogue never feels boring. Everything that Kyle and Eric talk about genuinely feels like stuff kids from the ‘90s would discuss.”

“…the writing in the final scene is what makes it one of the best movies on friendship and love. That exchange between Kyle and Eric has so many levels to it. There’s trepidation, empathy, curiosity, and above all, acceptance, and Rocky Walls does such a splendid job of balancing these emotions…”

“The budgetary limitations are evident but never all that prominent, probably because of Rocky’s ambition and his team’s ability to execute his visions. That brings us to that final scene. The use of light and shadow is simply brilliant. I always keep complaining that so many massively budgeted films do shot-reverse-shot in the most boring fashion imaginable. And here’s Rocky Walls showing all of them up. A huge round of applause for the team for that scene alone.”

Have you seen Dirty Laundry yet? If you have, what did you think? If you haven’t, what are you waiting for? You can watch it at www.dirtylaundry2024.com!

It's been one hell of a week. Had the absolute pleasure of jumping in on my buddy @colin.mccorquodale final school film, "BABYSTEPS". Man, I’m so damn proud to have been part of bringing this to life, among other things. There’s nothing (NOTHING) better than working with people who eat, sleep, and breathe movies. Much love!

Hey y’all, yesterday I worked on a film shoot with Colin @colin.mccorquodale with actors Dashawn @dashawn_m._kelley, Erika @erikalynnlewandowski and Thomas @tcz.itsme, in Colin’s short film “Baby Steps”. It’s about an escaped criminal who helps a woman give birth in an alley. It was super interesting to shoot, with plenty of unique and innovative shot styles. Of course, everyone had a great time despite the weather, and I can’t wait to work with these guys again! #shortfilm #filmmaking #studentfilm #indianapolis #iupui #indiana
