September 27–October 12, we’re heading back across the pond for another couple of weeks in Scotland! We’ll be revisiting a few favourite places, exploring some new ones, and working on some pretty exciting whisky projects along the way. What an amazing day!! The second annual Adam Laser Foundation Golf Tournament was incredible. With 140 golfers, 21 volunteers and 195 in attendance for dinner, it was a full day! Stay tuned for lots more pictures (thanks to @erikmcr!), and updates on fundraising as we calculate our total funds. We continue to be overwhelmed with the love and support from you all, THANK YOU ❤️ Thank you volunteers!! We are so grateful for all of our dear friends and family, this day could not have been possible without you!

Grateful to have been invited to Hacienda @patron and La Casona 🥂 an experience that’s not open to the public, but shared with a small number of guests each year. Being able to step inside the place where every bottle begins and see the craftsmanship, patience, and tradition behind it all gave me a completely different appreciation for the brand. Some opportunities remind you how much can happen when you keep showing up and stay committed to your craft. This was one of them. Huge thank you to Patrón for the incredible hospitality, the conversations, and an unforgettable few days in Jalisco. Looking forward to carrying the memories and inspiration with me long after the trip.

Mei reminded me the other day to pause and think about what my younger bartender self would say if he saw this year. What a year it has been since going fully self-employed. The busiest and most defining year of my life. Booked out two years in advance, opening new bar concepts for the world’s most luxurious hotels… My business year in numbers: - Schabert Consulting → Schabert Group Inc. (the business grew into something bigger) - Developed 15 bar concepts across North America + 2 hotel openings - Developed 21 cocktail menus (224 cocktails total) - Trained 24 bar teams (198 bartenders & servers) A special thank you to @editionhotels, @rosewoodhotels, @fourseasons, @aman, @autographhotels, @the_macallan and @accor for your trust. To the brand partners who supported so many of my visions and to my friends, family and of course Mei, who made this incredible adventure possible.
