I’m incredibly honored to have been featured in Voyage LA Magazine this month and to share a little bit of my journey as the founder of Sana Mana Co.—from taking a leap of faith, navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship, and building a wellness space rooted in intentionality, nourishment, and community. What started as a dream has grown into something so much bigger thanks to the support of our amazing customers, family, and friends.

As a women-owned and women-run business, none of this would be possible without the amazing girls who pour their hearts into Sana Mana every single day. Their dedication, kindness, hard work, and commitment to creating a welcoming experience for our customers are a huge part of what makes Sana Mana what it is today.

And to my husband— @erikshirkey thank you for entertaining all of my wild ideas, letting me turn every random thought into a business conversation, and continuing to say “let’s do it” when most would shut it down! You believed in me before I ever even did. 🥹 Thank you for not only supporting this dream but being my number 1 investor 💸

Most importantly, I’m grateful to God for every step of this journey. For blessing me with a mother who has been by my side through it all—always ready to jump in, help, and believe in the vision right alongside me. She has truly been my right-hand woman every step of the way. I’m grateful for the doors God has opened, the doors He has closed, and the constant reminders that His plans are far greater than my own. Through every challenge, blessing, connection, and opportunity, I can see His hand at work, and I’m thankful for His faithfulness through it all.

When one door closes, another opens.

Today, after 15 years of business, (12 as YogaBody and 3 as embody wellness hub), our studio is closing its doors.

A new chapter begins May 1st as the space is reimagined and elevated to reopen as The Hub Wellness Venue. In collaboration with @sanamanaco the space is being fully renovated to serve as a venue focused on curated social wellness events, rentals and co-working space.

Weekly classes will resume no later than May 1st with some exciting new class formats and many of the same teachers both past and present you have grown to love over the years.

More exciting details to come soon so please stay tuned.

If you are a member, not to worry, your membership or class pack will be honored at the new space and anytime missed can be added back by request.
