Okay, I’m only about three months late with this announcement… but I think Grandpa gets a pass. 😂❤️

On July 7th, our family welcomed my first grandchild, Bea Mae Wasendorf (Bee-ah), and I don’t think I could possibly explain how amazingly excited and happy we are to have her in our lives.

💕 Bea Mae Wasendorf
🎂 July 7, 2026
⏰ 11:15 AM
⚖️ 6 lbs. 13 oz.
📏 20 inches

And somehow, she is already about to turn 3 months old! I have no idea where the time has gone.

She has the same strawberry-blonde hair that Erik had when he was a baby, and she is just the sweetest, happiest little girl. She is almost too good to be true. ❤️

Watching Malia and Erik become parents has been pretty incredible, too. They are both amazing with her, and it makes me incredibly proud to watch them with their little girl.

So please forgive the ridiculously overdue announcement — and the proud Grandpa photo dump that comes with it. 📸😂 I have three months of pictures to catch up on!

I couldn’t be happier or more proud to introduce my first grandchild…

Bea Mae. ❤️

And yes, Grandpa is completely wrapped around her little finger already.
