The Man.. The Myth.. The Legend…

Forever Loved and Missed …Our Daddy, Pat McNamara.

We said our heartbreaking final goodbyes Tuesday last, the 21st of April and the hardest of hard goodbyes the Thursday and Friday after to this incredible man who has forever shaped us and has left behind a legacy that will not be forgotten any time soon.

He was an English teacher to some, a hurling trainer to others, a friend to all, and a beloved father and husband and all the above to us.

The stories that people shared with us, the laughter and tears they also shared with us, the 1000+ people who travelled from near and far to pay their respects and our community and friends who wrapped their arms around us last week will also never be forgotten by us.

Daddy, we miss you so much, your wit, your messing and your laughter, your poetry recitals and your quizzes, doing your bets on the horses and how you were always at the end of the phone when we needed you over the years.
