I ❤️ summer

3:59.23 mile.

When I was 15 I decided I would break 4 someday. Stepped away from the mile for 6 years and missed it every day. I know it doesn’t quite mean what it used to, but I can assure you that 15 year old kid would be going nuts right now.

I have the utmost respect for this historic barrier, and for the legends before who showed kids like me that it was possible. I’m honored to be in their company in some small way.

Most importantly, I am so thankful for my crew. It was an unbelievable feeling to do it on my home track in front of the people I love. Without my family, friends, coaches, and all of the teammates I’ve had over the years, this would feel hollow. A special thank you to @bandit @blanks_sports_nutrition and everyone that supports @the.enclave.dc for supporting the dream. Incredibly excited to keep this momentum rolling into next year. Drums please, Fab?
