This is to simply document the frolic.

Moved across the continent a month ago yada yada. This barely scratches the surface, but here are some people I’ll miss a lot/excited to see a lot more of. Before the emotions take over I’m going to also put out there I’m looking for a lightly used bicycle for my next big boy purchase- any leads would be greatly appreciated, love you all 🇺🇸🇨🇦🫀

It’s been several weeks since we closed Dear Evan Hansen, and here’s what I’m still carrying with me…

✨ It’s never too late to begin again. Returning to theatre after stepping away for a season felt like coming home. This cast and this show will always hold a special place in my heart because they reminded me that what’s meant for you will wait patiently for you to return.

✨ Your purpose in a place may not be what you expect, but if you remain open hearted it just might surprise you in ways far better. Some of the most meaningful moments of this run were the ones I never saw coming—conversations that encouraged me to step towards motherhood regardless of what it looks like, unexpected friendships, getting to pour into and encourage the next generation of creatives, and the full-circle experience of singing “You Will Be Found” from the rafters after navigating my own seasons of anxiety years ago. I wish I could let that younger version of me peek into these moments.

✨ Singing “You Will Be Found” backstage with #SwingNation was by far my favorite moment every show. There’s something powerful about a room full of people singing & receiving the same truth together. Everyone is carrying something we can’t see. When we remember that, we become a little gentler and a little more willing to walk alongside one another.

Maybe that’s why this story resonates so deeply with me. It is so wildly aligned with the beliefs I hold dear - that we’re better together, and that we can trust even in our darkest moments, we will be found. That’s the heart of the gospel. Not cleaning ourselves up to come to God- but a God so good that He will do whatever it takes to find us.

I hope anyone that was touched by this show will carry that truth with them and seek to be a neighbor that does the same. 🩵

SoulCycle was my first part-time job in NYC, and it shaped me in more ways than I can put into words. I never expected this silly little bike job to mean so much. I’m beyond grateful for every smile at the desk and every person who made this place truly feel like home from HDYD to NOMD to BRPK. Onto the next chapter and see you on a bike soon! 💛🫶🏻
