Come witness my ladies in red as they grace the stage as Performers and Assistant Choreographers in “Yesterday I Felt The Sun On My Face”, premiering in the @spelman_dt Fall 2025 concert entitled JUXTO.

“Yesterday I Felt The Sun On My Face” is a six-act #dance work that journeys through the visible and invisible cycles of #human existence, using the #movements of the #sun and #moon as guiding metaphors. Each act explores the dualities of life and death, #clarity and #mystery, #masculine and #feminine, and the eternal rhythm of renewal that binds them. This work draws from #cultural and #literary #traditions to reveal how daily and #cosmic #cycles #mirror the #spiritual #passage of the soul. It invites #audiences to witness life’s #transitions as both tangible and transcendent.

Today was my final day of rehearsals for “JUXTO”, the Fall 2025 Spelman Dance Theatre rep performance I have been spending ALL of my time on. I mean can’t eat, can’t sleep type of love into this. These young ladies are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Hands down one of the most intuitive, vulnerable, magical, and talented groups I have had the pleasure of working with in ALL of my years. I am so thankful for them and this process.

Head over to the Spelman Dance Theatre (@spelman_dt) Instagram for ticket details.

See you November 14-16th!!!!

I'm 100% committed to Parsons and i'll be majoring in Strategic Design and Management. I'm a dancer and i love fashion as well. I'm really excited to move back to nyc and meet new people. some of my favorite artists are drake, kehlani, and sza (i love rap and rnb). i also love marvel, partying, and just being spontaneous and having fun. can't wait to meet y'all!

Wow!! It’s done... what an amazing journey of hard work, fun, and friends! I’m so grateful for my Horton teacher, @kaep247 for the sweaty, fun, and fit Saturdays. My modern teacher Ms.Bush, and my ballet teacher Ms.Boshcetto for working me during the week and pushing me beyond my limits. I can’t wait for next year’s classes, hopefully with most of the dancers presented to you in this lovely photo! 😁😉 Love you galsss and guysss xoxo 😘😘 #alvinailey #alvinaileyamericandancetheater #springconcert #springdanceconcert #hortontechnique #moderndance #balletdancer #browngirlsdoballet #kiddancer #dancewithfriends #dancefriends
