After almost 4 incredible years at @joystreetstudios , it is bittersweet to share that I will be moving to a new studio in early Oct!

I'm so grateful to have called Joy St my art home and to have been a part of the amazing artist community here, many of whom I now count among my dear friends - most especially, the BEST STUDIOMATES I could have ever asked for - @moniqueaimee @needlefelty @asimpson14 ❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭

It's been very emotional to reflect back on all the ways that I have grown, things that I've accomplished, bonds that I've formed, and memories that I've made over the course of my time in studio #2. To me, it's been nothing short of magic. 💫

While the decision to leave has been difficult, and not quite for the reasons I had anticipated, as always, the universe will do its thing. Life's challenges often prepare you for the next phase of abundance.

So, I'm very fortunate to have found a beautiful studio at Lincoln Studios in Waltham, and I'm so excited to begin this new chapter as a member of this equally amazing artist community. I'm looking forward to making new friends and seeing how my practice evolves in this new space. 🎨🌞

Finally, there is a massive amount of organizing, packing, and Ikea shopping happening right now, but I will be hosting a STUDIO SALE (in-person and online) 🛍️ as a toast to both the past 4 years and what's to come 🥂 - stay tuned for details!

Spent a few days in Acadia this week with my friends! Of course our only full day was rainy, but that didn’t stop us. I finally got to wear my finished #dagmarjacket by @petiteknit and carved out some cozy knitting time.

Swipe to see some knitting inspiration and ideas, plus my crazy haul from Marden’s! If you’re ever in Maine, that is my recent discovery of sourcing yarn and fabric at incredible prices. It’s a surplus store so you never know what you’ll get, but that’s part of the fun!

Lots of good food on this trip. Had the best time at Glidden Point Oyster Farm where you can shuck your own! Slammed a lobster roll so fast the camera never saw it. Same goes for blueberry apple crisp!

I’m looking forward to making a fall themed vlog soon, plus a regular knitting podcast episode. Lots to chat about! See you on YouTube soon 🍂

Lack V is over. This conference is one of my favorite times of the 2-3 year intervals of its occurrence. My favorite part this year was @ryancengley talking about why Ben Simmons doesn’t shoot. Thanks to all the organizers for having me, already got a paper queued up for the next one.

It’s been a big year of many accomplishments including:
— unprecedented newsletter growth
— several movies screened digitally in person
— finishing my PhD
But the biggest of all is getting married to the love of my life @eringwozdz

December is always very busy with holidays, Erin’s birthday, and family parties, so why not add another festive day in the years to come. Thanks to all the family and friends who have honored the event with us and given us generous well wishes. They are all thoroughly appreciated.

Being with Erin is the great joy of my life and I treasure all of our experiences together. Here’s to a lifetime of smiles and celebration in the years to come.
