It’s just a random Tuesday, but I’m feeling extra thankful for this little corner of the internet. Just wanted to share some love for the people who keep me coming back day after day ( ˶˘ ³˘)♡

☀️ reading update:
- i was very ambitious on my trip and brought four physical books with me but only managed to read two??
⇢ scotch on the rocks joined my 5 star read club, and you can read my review post to see why i loved it so much. 😌
⇢ beach read was adorable and i finally understand all the hype, an easy 4 stars.
- i also finished problematic summer romance and ooffffff….. conor was the worst and the infantilizing of maya was just not it for me whatsoever. i feel generous giving it 2.5 stars, which is a bummer because i’m usually an ali girly through and through.

☀️ highlights:
- my mexico trip! seeing tulum, swimming in cenotes and snorkeling in the ocean was a dream come true.
- relaxing, reading and floating in the pool with @erininchapters
- winning my annual swimming race against my husband. 🙂‍↕️
- getting to use the resort gym and use equipment i don’t have in my home gym (it’s weird i know but whatever)
- going to the opening night of the chemical romance tour made teenage emo taylors dream come true.
- coming home to my four legged babies.
- seeing the new jurassic park/world movie (even though it was very mid)

❓ what are you currently reading?

✨ i am absolutely LOVING this book, i am currently around the halfway point right now and i’m so excited to see what ends up happening in the last half of this book. This book is so adventurous and exciting to read and the story feels so rich and fresh, i love the way that it’s written and the monsters inside this book feel so original and also terrifying. Highly recommend to anyone and i will definitely have more thoughts once i finish reading!! 💖

is it just me or does april seem like one of those months that lasts forever? like i had a week off for spring break yet still had to come back and teach for 3 more weeks of april after? 😅 i did a mix of a short tbr and mood reading because mood reading march really set me free and there’s no looking back now.

What have I been reading, listening to and watching this week…

📚Reading… The Liars by Katherine Fleet, so good full of suspense and mystery.

🎧Listening… anyone else obsess with the DJ Fish56? He’s a guy on insta/TikTok making me relive my dance, house, drum and bass era! I’ve been listening to loads of old 90’s Ibiza tracks!

📺Watching… my husband and I have gone down a rabbit hole of watching old series of Robbie Coltrane’s Cracker! Soooo good!
