Thank you to the incredible organizations that had me as a part of their design team this season! In 2026 I am fortunate to work with over 45 programs from across the country in various capacities ranging from percussion arranger to wind arranger to sound designer to music consultant! It is truly an undertaking to manage so many projects while being a full time band director but I can sincerely say I enjoy EVERY minute of creating music for these student performers! Thanks again and reach out SOON about 2027!

Last fall I had the privilege of performing in Thumbprint, an incredible piece by @kamalasankaram

I’ve admired Kamala’s work for a while now and am so glad to have finally had the opportunity to perform it (can’t wait to see another of her pieces come to life at Chautauqua this summer!). It was an honor to help tell Mukhtar Mai’s story. Let’s make more art that isn’t afraid!

NATS INTERN PROGRAM 2026: After an amazing 10 days, I’m home from SC and the @officialnats Intern Program.

Thank you to my student, @jherna_2207, for all of your hard work. Your voice is amazing and I can’t wait to see how you grow! I’m glad to be just a small part of your singing journey.

To my teaching cohort, @albafrancocancel, @carly.wingfield, and Teresa Vaughan, thank you for showing me how to look at voice teaching in a new light (or several new lights!)

Thank you to my Master Teacher, @jerryelsbernd, for your kindness, wisdom, and for just being you. I’m glad to have you as a mentor and I am so lucky to learn from you.

To the queens of 304, @haileyclarksopran, @erintaur, @desiree.howe17, and our two honorary apartmentmates @david_b_clark and @bradleytsowell, thank you for being my safe place, my sounding board, and for the many years of friendship and goofiness to come!

Thank you @officialnats for the experience of a lifetime 🎶🖤

What a special evening this recital turned out to be. I’m so grateful to everyone who made it possible. I truly could not have done it without all of you.

A heartfelt thank you to Erin for stepping in on such short notice and delivering such a beautiful and deeply moving performance. And to Brendon, thank you for your endlessly beautiful, secure, and passionate playing, it was such a joy to share the stage with you.

Logan, you were deeply missed tonight. Sending lots of love and wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery.

And thank you to Veronika and Elizabeth for welcoming us so warmly and for creating such a beautiful opportunity for artists to share both our hearts and our art.

Feeling incredibly thankful for the music, the friendship, and everyone who shared this evening with us.

It is with sincere regret that we announce soprano Logan Trotter is unfortunately unwell and will be unable to join us for the recital.

At the same time, we are delighted and deeply grateful that soprano Erin Matthews has graciously agreed to step in for the performance. We look forward to presenting an equally inspiring and memorable program for our audience.

Please join us in sending our warmest regards to Logan, along with wishes for a swift and full recovery.

In 39 years of birthdays, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so spoiled. I’m not sure what I did to deserve all of these wonderful people in my life, but growing older is so much more fun with them by my side ♥️
