Who is at your table, matters! They will either build you up so you can live in your God given purpose or they will distract you away from your true identity. But they will shape you and form your character.
Over the years I have been blessed with some amazing women that have helped me heal, grow and learn to be more like Jesus so I can walk in my purpose with confidence & clarity. So I can finish well and not burnout.

God never calls us to solo missions, we need people. These are the 5 types of people you need in your life! Find them and invest in them! It will change your life!

None of the people that I have listed in this post live in the state that I live in. So this was not accidental. This is intentional. It takes effort and work to make it happen. But it’s worth it.

HEY! I know summer is over… but this is important.

I saw something @jesseitzler posted and it flipped a switch for me.

I know I don’t have unlimited summers in my life, but I often forget that! Jesse was talking about how the average life span is 78 years…. Which means on average, people get 78 summers. If they’re lucky.

So, he talked about counting your summers - and I’ve started doing it now.

That means I just wrapped Summer #43.

Truthfully, it was a mixed bag. Awesome. Chaotic. Tiring. Sometimes all at the same time.

Before I move on to the rest of the year, I know I can learn from doing a short reflection on what was good… and what wasn’t.

Looking back after the BIG thing ends - whatever it is - was something we would always do during my time at Nike. Because looking back we were able to take a clear look at what could get better the next time around.

We did it after NBA All-Start Weekend activations and huge product launches, but it’s just as relevant when it comes to thinking about summers (or other seasons of life).

So, I created a super simple tool to help reflect in a tangible way. It’s called a WLOPS Exercise - Wins, Losses, and Opportunities.

Some WINS: Rafting memories with the boys. Deleting Instagram off my phone decreased my screen time by 30%.

Some LOSSES: The weekly check-in Erin and I use to stay connected completely fell off, and so did date nights. 😳

Some OPPORTUNITIES: Better weekly rhythms. Including Tuesday nights at the beach in the summer.

So, here’s my encouragement - can you take 10 minutes this weekend before fall fully kicks in and reflect on your Wins, Losses, and Opportunities from this past summer?

Then put a meeting on your calendar next April, call it “Summer Planning + Learnings,” and drop your notes in to review on that day.

Next summer - one of the limited number you have left - will be grateful you did!

Rooting for you! 🩶

I am so grateful for the friends that God brought along my path in the right seasons to correct me,cheer me on and celebrate me! I am convinced we can’t do life alone especially the older we get.
We need people.
It’s hard to make time to build relationships.
It takes effort to invest in others.
But it’s worth it. 🫶🏽
Because we all need someone who gets us, will laugh loud with us, will listen to us vent, cry with us and pray for us.
And if you have been blessed to have a friend like that, let them know! Hit share and tag them or send this to them! 👈🏽

We’re not ending… but we are changing something big.

Because this was never meant to stay a podcast.
It was always meant to become a table.

A place where you can actually wrestle with faith, ask real questions, and not feel crazy for it.

We’re building that—online and in real life.

If you’ve been craving something deeper… stay close.
You don’t want to miss what’s coming ❤️

Follow along + stay in the loop!

If someone had told me that I would be sitting in @jessaconnolly ‘s living room in Charleston SC with a group of amazingly gifted and faithful world changing women…I would have laughed out loud.

Who me, the one with all the messes and mistakes, the one with all the baby daddies (keepin it real) the one with the past addictions and a million wrong turns?

YES. That’s the one! That what I think Jesus would answer my response.

He doesn’t need your perfection, he just needs your YES ✨

If this seems impossible to you, I’ll be ready to show you otherwise really soon! In the meanwhile, I strongly encourage you to check out @goandtellgals Amplify course! Your voice & story matter more than you probably know 🙏🏼

✨Clarity When Vision Feels Foggy
When you’re too close to your own life, it’s hard to see clearly. The right community reflects back your strengths, calls out what you can’t see, & reminds you “why” you started in the first place.

✨Momentum When You Feel Stuck
Isolation breeds overthinking but community creates movement. Being surrounded by women who are taking action, even imperfectly, pulls you out of paralysis & back into purpose!

You don’t need more pressure & You certainly don’t need to “try harder.”

You need alignment, support & people who remind you who you are when you forget.

We’re the @growher.co & we have a seat for you at the table, always.🫶🏻

So… is baptism required for salvation?

This is one of those questions that can divide rooms real quick.

But what if we’ve been asking it a little wrong?

What if baptism was never meant to be a qualifier…but a declaration?

Not something that earns salvation—but something that flows from it.

Because if we’re saved by grace through faith…then belief is the starting line.

And baptism? It’s the moment you step out and say,“I’m in. For real.”
Not just once—but every single day after that.

We unpack this way deeper in this week’s conversation—honestly one of those ones that might stretch you a bit.

If you’ve been wanting more than just short clips… you know where to find us 🪑

But first—we are really curious 👇Have you been taught baptism is required… or a response?

Good Friday wasn’t casual. So why is our response sometimes?

We love grace…but the cross shows us it cost everything. Acceptance isn’t adding Jesus to your life. It’s rebuilding your life around Him.

Grace is free—but it’s not passive.
It invites surrender.A response.A life that actually looks different.
So the question is—have we just received grace…or responded to it?

We rush from the cross to the resurrection.
Good Friday to Easter Sunday.

But we skip the in-between.
Holy Saturday.

The silence. The grief. The “God, where are you?” moments.

But that’s what makes the resurrection so powerful.
That’s where everything shifts.
Death didn’t have the final say.God is still moving—even when we don’t see it.

Sometimes the deepest faith is formed in the in-between moments when it feels like hope is gone.

Maybe don’t rush it.
Sit with Him there.
What if it’s not over?

Thoughts? Let us know ⬇️

We didn’t rush past this… and you don’t have to either. You can always keep going with us on Substack!
