👑🗽: How It All Started (The Story of KOB Vintage) It all began with my dad—a hardcore vintage enthusiast 🏺👕. He’d drag my brother and me out of bed at ungodly hours ⏰ to hit up estate sales 🏷️💰. The reward? A feast fit for royalty at Burger King or Wendy’s 🍔👑. Fast forward to my NYC era—I worked in an art gallery 🎨 and in fashion at Ralph Lauren & Tommy Hilfiger 👗, but something felt… off. Then one night, while walking home in Chelsea, I ran into a very persistent French guy. He was convinced that NYC galleries were open past 7 PM (news flash: they weren’t 🕖❌). He insisted on showing me his Instagram, claiming to be a graffiti artist 🖌️. I almost rolled my eyes but gave it a look—and WOW. Dude was actually talented. We became fast friends, and through him, I met some incredible Japanese vintage sellers running a vintage market in Clinton Hill 🇯🇵🛍️. The second I met them, I knew—these were my fashion soulmates 💕👘. I started selling at Akichi Flea and then expanded ALL over NYC—from The Rockaways to Bed-Stuy 🚎🗺️. Along the way, I connected with vintage legends like @erinsilvers and teamed up with @iamdedebrown for Brooklyn pop-ups 🛒✨. She even taught me the sacred art of chalking sidewalks—an essential skill for any vintage hustler 📝🏃‍♀️. In 2020, we were set to be featured on Taxi TV 🚖📺, but, well… you know who (Covid 😷🙄) had other plans. So in 2021, I took the hustle to the tropics 🌴🌊, selling at Hampton Flea, Lincoln Road and Market for Makers. Now, wherever I travel, I’m always on the hunt for the best luxury vintage for YOU 🏆👑. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this wild ride—you inspire me every day! 💖🙏. 🌴Join us in December at the Hampton Flea @thebenwestpalm 12.13🌴 #VintageHustler #BrooklynRoyalty #KingdomOfBrooklyn #FashionJourney #LuxuryVintage @hamptonflea @paradisiomarket @boca.farmers.market @marketsformakers @lincolnrd @mary.elise.chavez #ralphlauren #70svintage
