BIG Time gratitude to our Technical Director Minaqua McPherson!
She courageously stepped into arguably one of the most challenging tech positions in the industry- Edinburgh Fringe Festival is no joke !

We literally had 7-10minutes everyday to load in and pack out for our show slot.

From the beginning through to the end, She came with a fierce drive to help our show thrive. It was turbulence the whole way as is the nature of Fringe, and yet we all learned to fly bc Minaqua was our extraordinary co-pilot. This show, entirely dependent on crowd work, required present moment composing and on the tech side of things Minaqua brought all her skills as a lighting designer and dancer and improviser to make live choices to support the demands of giving the Best Worst Advice we could deliver!

Cheers my dear friend, my ace-boom -koom of over 15 years!!!

From SD Fringe originals circa 2011 to ED Fringe first timers2025…We did it!

co-conspirators in the making
to be in the process
of
engagement
&
weaving potential
Into form
operating on ourselves
collectively
with
the advice we seek, the advice we want, the advice we need?
Dancing

Bring your juicy questions, your complexity, your appetite for absurdity and joy as we work to become The Operators and the world’s first dancing advice-columnists.

☎️World’s First Dancing Advice Column Premieres at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025!

✨Best Worst Advice is a bold, hilarious and deeply human experimental dance-theatre show created by rebellious women choreographers Anne Gehman, Emily Aust, and Erin Tracy who met and started making work together over a decade ago.

✨Now in their 40s they’ve reunited, blending decades of performance experience, life lessons, and embodied wisdom into a show that literally moves with meaning. The Operators are the world’s first dancing advice-columnists who are radically celebrating bodily autonomy while offering antidotes to overwhelm, and the endless scroll of questionable internet wisdom. It’s intimate, absurd, and fiercely relatable. Tired? Yes. Retired? Not even close.
