🎞️TRAIN DREAMS, 2025

Train Dreams —

Train Dreams is a dramatic film by Clint Bentley, who co-wrote the screenplay with Greg Kwedar, based on Dennis Johnson’s 2011 novella of the same name.

It is an extraordinarily intimate and modest, life-affirming film — one you want to watch alone, in a dark room. Without exaggeration, it is the most beautiful film of 2025 and one of the finest things you will ever see on Netflix. A testimony to the life of a single person that becomes an exact portrait of an entire century.

Ahh yes, The Santa Monica Santa Crawl of 2024.

Neither wake nor slumber can save you from the all knowing ethereal consciousness that is Sinter Claas. Naughty or nice, consequence or reward. The time has come yet again for us to be judged by the fat red man from a 1931 Coca-Cola marketing campaign, despite any forms of denial or reputations, such as the forewarned pouting/crying ect.

I take it upon myself to have the honor of slumping a heaving sack of gifts for the nice and opposing lumps of coal for the naughty, respectfully. Implementing the practice of who is granted compensation and who is punished in retribution. Based not on instinct nor supernatural know-how, but absolutely nothing at all.

My findings.

The unruly and inebriated utterly adore receiving their well deserved, suprise soot stone from Santas bag of punishment and reward.
On the other hand...

All and sundry; somber, sober and dignified patrons of these fine establishments who choose not to have their fill of bread and wine in celebration of the birth of Baby JC, grow unequivocally, livid.

Bewildered, confounded by the fact that I had the audacity to make such a decision as handing them a combustible black rock of carbonized plant matter. Perplexed to the point of reducing themselves to exercising a quite impressive range of colorful vocabulary skills, deafeningly pleading with those around them as to why I would commit such an act.

Why has he done this?
Why have I been chosen to be given this?

Rather interesting statistics really.
And none the less entertaining.
A well deserved handout in my opinion.

So cheers to the Vixens, Dancers, and Prancers.
Blessed Red Nosed Reindeer from snow in flight.

I say a Merry Christmas to all.
And to all... A good night.
