10 YEARS???? 10 YEARS!!!

Celebration coming later this year. If you’re new here, we’ve been doing this a while now. If you’ve been with us this whole time, you’re crazy ;)
Feeling lots of love lately. Enjoy this gargantuan collage I made of all the memories. All the way back to 2016-17. Shoutout to everyone from our high school that said we were trust fund babies :’) I wish girl!

Thanks to Silvee and Jacob E. Chord for hopping on this one! @silveemusic & @jacob_e.chord

From early 2022 to early 2023 I had a run of using my garage (or really any garage for that matter) as a studio. It was a fun time and a trickier environment than an actual studio. Some of them you can clearly see it’s a garage and some of them not. So I guess I mean to say even if you don’t have a space dedicated to creating don’t let that stop you. Anyway, these are some favorites in no particular order.

We can’t believe it’s been exactly a year since our album Frozen Heads came out :’) just put up a “making of” video on youtube. It’s basically camcorder footage of us just fighting the whole time and eventually you see how the record was completed. Proud of this weird little album, and love the way it came to fruition for us. We’re working on some new stuff, don’t worry. Gotta make sure the mind is just right first.

with love, The Moose

@ermaxklein by the water in Redon. There was the most amazing Full Moon that night. Unfortunately, no camera I had with me could capture it properly, ya just had to be there! Almost forgot, someone’s grandmother 100% crowd-surfed that evening— wild.

i’ve had some fun filled travels with my love to Tulsa and Chicago to see two of my favorite bands :—) we saw beloved friends in both places and experienced life-altering music and art. coming back to reality after traveling is always challenging, especially so with daylight savings. anyways, here’s a poem i wrote about the change of the season. hug your friends, share some soup. everyone needs some extra lovin nowadays.

at night i lay awake,
listening to a tree creak against my house.
is she trying to tell me something?
i lie amongst the leaves,
lean against the trees,
and i wonder if they hear me cry.
are the leaves that fall their tears?
i have used them to wipe my own.
my soul feels bare,
as the branches are stripped.
they will heal, and so will i.
i stand in the glory of the sun’s short hours.
