Had a great 32nd birthday!

I kept things pretty chill this year, just having a small gathering for dinner at Beijing (which was great). I got some really thoughtful gifts and well wishes and great food, and was happy to be surrounded by people I love ❤️ I also had a lovely watch party with my cabaret cast where @stacyparker0522 surprised me with some beautiful cupcakes made by @davidrichva ! Look at the camera/tripod decoration - so cool! And then today my mom brought me a cake and I had a steak dinner with my dad and George. My fortune cookie from Beijing was perfect as these past few years have been a ton of growth for me and I plan to keep that going! And I'm super hype to see Beauty and the Beast at the Altria with @cristina.ele.na !

Looking back on this past year, a lot has happened. I had my first therapy session and learned a ton about myself over the year. I started Muay Thai and piano lessons, I've worked on my diet and gym routine and have soared to new heights in my fitness and sports performance. I got to be my brother's best man, and get a new sister in law. I learned about SO many things. I got more involved in theatre, saw Sabrina Carpenter, mostly conquered severe tendonitis, grew my business, deepened friendships and made new connections. I also lost some friends, caught Covid, dealt with a toxic relationship, and had some down times, but I think I can confidently say the good and the growth outweighed the bad. It's a lot to reflect on, so I'm thankful for the photos and posts to help me recall those experiences. Sometimes I worry that I'm being annoying by taking so many selfies and stuff, but it's just how I operate. I don't have the best memory, so I love to have the pictures to look back on and help me remember.

This coming year I want to be more intentional with art. Both my own and in the enjoyment of others'. And travel!

Big thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday and spent time with me to celebrate. Your kindness and consideration means so much to me. I'm an odd egg, and a bit sentimental, so for y'all to stick with me this long is really something! Here's to 32!

Happy birthday to my partner in crime. A year of many shared firsts—first time living abroad together, finally tied the knot, got our first tattoos together, first treks in the alps with my relatives, &c. &c. So much shared joy & plenty more to come.

Late Father’s Day post—since we were too busy yesterday working on home improvement projects and drinking beer. Grateful to have good examples to follow & people to enjoy mountaintop beers with.

What a joy it was to see Erin again, and discover why she has “fallen for” Madrid! 🥰 The added happiness was meeting up with Marianne and Torsten again too 💞 There aren’t enough words to say what a captivating, multi-faceted, and charming city Madrid is! I know we will be back again… 😉 #madrid #wonover #reunited #spain #thegoodlife #familyandfriends #travel #newplaces #citywalking #explore
