In Focus • Brand63 x Harrods African Designers Pop-up Launch Event. “Founded by Eva Omaghomi CVO, Brand63Africa is a pioneering social enterprise dedicated to connecting exceptional fashion designers of African heritage with leading global markets.” This summer I was lucky enough to be an insider for this exciting launch of five African brands at Harrods, a milestone event spearheaded by Brand63 and 3 years in the making. Through working with @christiebrowngh I have become part of the Christie Brown family and invested in the amplification and of the brand. So, on Thursday, dressed in Christie Brown, of course, I attended the launch party at Harrods when I had the chance to celebrate with @aisha_ayensu and @vanessabannerman among a vibrant guest list of some of the most influential creatives, voices, and leaders from across the diaspora. The pop-up is open at Harrods on the 4th floor and should be an essential part of your weekend, if you are seeking out luxury womenswear with a distinctly African point-of-view, that also embeds a global outlook.
