Dit was Go Short Arnhem 2026!

Van 9-11 oktober was Go Short in Focus Filmtheater in Arnhem.

🎬 Gelderland Film Pitch

Gefeliciteerd allemaal! 👏

And this edition of GU.PHO. has also come to an end. ✨

Or rather: for now, the days inside the Castle have come to a close, such as the rush between an exhibition and a talk, the coffees grabbed on the go, the chairs moved at the very last minute, the unexpected turns, the difficult questions, the beautiful encounters, the conversations over tagliatelle and a glass of wine. 🍝🍷

What remains are the images, the voices, and above all the feeling that we have shared something that will keep moving for a while longer. 📷

Our heartfelt thanks to all the artists, speakers, partners and organisations involved, to everyone who worked behind the scenes, supported us, stopped by even just to say hello, asked questions, paused to listen, and looked a little more closely.

In the coming days and weeks, we will return to what happened: through images, thoughts, and a few reflections on the experience we have just shared.

For now: thank you, truly.
We are taking a moment to gather our energy again. 🌿

See you soon,
GU.PHO.

⸻

E anche questa edizione di GU.PHO. è arrivata alla fine. ✨

A presto,
GU.PHO.

This year, GU.PHO.’s programme is particularly rich: talks, round tables, webinars, and meetings with artists, researchers, archives, publishers, and organisations that work every day with images, memory, and the many responsibilities they carry.

We will discuss the ethics of appropriation, counter-archives, vernacular photography, independent publishing, collective memory, cultural heritage, found images, and new forms of restitution.

A packed programme, conceived as an open space for exchange: a way to raise questions, without necessarily looking for definitive answers.

𝘈 𝘙𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳-𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴: 𝘖𝘣𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴, 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘝𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 | Wednesday 17.06 at Van Abbehuis | 17:00 - 20:00

This film programme explores how the legacies of colonialism and systemic violence persist in the present through objects, memories, archives, and everyday spaces. Together, the films uncover silenced histories and imagine more plural ways of remembering and belonging.
