POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Turning the remnants of war into the foundation for art. 🥀💀
In Part 2 of our sit-down with SELA artist Daniel Zuniga, we talk about the reality of returning home from military service. When depression, anxiety set in Daniel turned back to the drawing board.
He found a way to take the intricate, mechanical complexity of the destructive devices he saw overseas and channel that exact same energy into creation—building his first paper mache skull sculpture from wire, cardboard, and light.
At La Línea, we are honored to have our walls serve as an incubator for stories like this. Art isn’t just something to look at while you wait for a haircut; it’s a tool for survival, processing, and community healing.
Watch Daniel break down his journey, and stop by the shop to see the incredible sculptures born from this process. 🎨🤝
