We’re feeling the Halloween vibes at the Broom this Monday. ⚡️ (Coop is mainly feeling the Mondays 😑😴)

Feeling festive?! Try the Broom Stick Pumpkin Ale at our next show! 🧹🎃

Grew up listening to @thetragicallyhip all summer long in my small-town backyard. Watched their final concert on @cbc back home, just days before heading back to Kingston for another year of school.

10 years later, I got to celebrate one of Canada’s greatest treasures in the very town that raised them, with the people who raised me to love them. 🇨🇦 #ygk #foreverhip

Downtown Kingston has gotten a Tragically Hip makeover 🎶❤️

It's been 10 years since @thetragicallyhip's unforgettable hometown concert, and Kingston is honouring the occasion with murals, installations, and a full lineup of Forever Hip events celebrating the band that got its start right here.

Walk the downtown core, and you'll spot tributes to the Hip around nearly every corner 👀

Forever Hip. Forever Kingston. ❤️

10 years ago, Kingston came together for one unforgettable night. 🎶

On August 20, 2016, @thetragicallyhip played their final hometown concert in @downtownkingston, a moment that became part of Kingston’s history and lives on in the hearts of so many who call this city home.

A decade later, I’m taking you on my very own Forever Hip tour from the stories and music history at City Hall, to @toucankingston, Hip murals, local artists and makers, record shops, the pier and, of course, back to where it all started at Springer Market Square.

Because The Hip aren’t just part of Kingston’s music history.

They’re part of our story.

This is my love letter to the city I call home. To the places that hold our memories, the local businesses and creatives who keep our community vibrant, and the people who continue to show up for Kingston every day.

So, if you’re a lifelong Kingstonian, a former student who still considers this place home, a Hip fan, or simply someone who loves discovering the stories behind a city…

Come downtown. Take the route. Find the murals. Dig through the records. Raise a glass. Stand in the Square. And remember.
