Words can’t even describe how I feel about this last weekend. I entered my first cosplay competition with Manyan as everyone’s favorite demon dog duo and we won Best in Novice for Craftsmanship. It’s wild to me that not only did I find someone who is willing to put up with my crazy enough to spend countless hours making cosplays with me, but also winning best in class with her at my FIRST competition. Thanks so much to Anime San Diego, judges, staff, and guests for such a great experience!

The first year of @anime.sandiego was a smashing success, in my opinion. It's been a long time since I have attended a convention that put on such an amazing, immersive and interactive experience like this. I really hope to see this show again next year!
The vendors, the talent, the cosplayers, the PEOPLE. It was such an amazing experience.

Thuy and I walked away with our first ever competition win in the Novice Craftsmanship category. All the hours spent on Inuyasha and Sesshomaru really paid off. I am absolutely thrilled to have not only placed, but to have placed with my best friend and biggest cheerleader.
And to the people who we shared that stage with, how incredible were YOU?! I am so proud and awestruck by everyone! Great work and great people!! I tried to tag who I could, so if this makes it's way to you, please message me so I can add you!
Thank you to everyone who has been a huge supporter in my and our cosplay journey, on and offline. And thank you to the judges, the event staff and the convention center for putting on such a great show.

Went and cosplayed at SDCC for three whole days this year!! It was so fun. Also behold the debut of my Chell and Miroku cosplays. I didn’t get a ton of photos, but here are some of my favs!

Looking forward to next year.
