And that's our Top Five albums for 2025! Thanks for listening ❤️ Next is our 2025 round-up. I should maybe start writing that. We hope you get to listen to some of your favourite music this festive period!

We've chosen our five favourite albums from 2025. There's been a load of great music put out this year but here's our first pick.

@errunhrd - 'Everything I've Ever Known'. We wrote about this album in the summer and it's a kind of darkness we've always wanted to articulate, which Errunhrd nails perfectly. If dark clouds swelling in the distance were translated to sound, it would sound like this for us. Favourite track: 'Waiting'.

I did a playlist!

Echoes of Tomorrows: cinematic synths, raw emotion, and melancholic beauty. Weekly updates and new artists to discover!

A hidden universe of underground pop, where cinematic synths, raw emotion, and nostalgic melancholy collide. Emerging artists shaping soundscapes between dreams and reality. For late nights, quiet thoughts, and moments that feel like film scenes.

For a start we go with the following 12 great artists:
@bilrus_band
@ellenorvora
@errunhrd
@ferdiamusic
@goncalocera
@langjahrmusic
@luke_skaal
@malficerian
@nymphasofficial
@strangerainn
@shay_moshe_moshe
@isolate.band

Should i continue that playlist?

Had the immense pleasure of taking part in last week’s @viffest AMP program in Vancouver to chat @vapormusic, @longdivision.tv and the @guildofmusicsupervisorscanada , and am so thankful for such a thoughtful, intentional event merging the worlds of music and film/television. Every day was full of meaningful connections and insightful conversations.

I had the honour of participating in two panels during the event, both of which were so incredibly special.

Our Global Music Supervision panel brought together myself from the @guildofmusicsupervisorscanada, @heather_guibert from the @guildofmusicsupervisors and @patycarreram from the @supervisionmusicalorg to chat about challenges and commonalities across territories, and about what our respective organizations are doing in terms of education and advocacy, moderated by the fantastic @lindsbailey .

The next day I participated in SOUNDOFF, curated by @music_bc , and featuring a stellar lineup of artists showcasing for live music supervisor feedback. What a joy to hear these bands, and comments from @vybzchantel , @lauranikolic_ , Paty and Heather, hosted by @mr_bunndini and @luvla65 .

Between AMP events, hangs with Vancouver clients, and of course time with my pals in the Vancouver music licensing community, I squeezed in a (rainy) walk to the totem poles and collecting my first @pyrrhajewelry piece.

A massive thank you to Tony, @rwcalder and @ashleysugi for your hospitality and kindness, and bringing me out! And to so many friends that showed me your city, thanks for the good times! Until the next visit!

Loved receiving this album and companion book from @errunhrd this weekend. Her new album 'Everything I've Ever Known' is a journey and confrontation of darkness and isolation and I loved writing about it. Our review and interview with Errunhrd is still in the link in our bio 🖤🦋🦒
