Thank you to everyone who came out Wednesday night for A Toast to Democracy! It was great to see so many neighbors and members at Cultivar, and a special thanks to Assemblymember Catherine Stefani and Supervisor Stephen Sherrill for their sponsorship and sharing a few words.

We’re also grateful to our sponsors, including Assemblymember Matt Haney, Joaquín Torres, Elijah Ball, Erwin Tam, Ruth Ferguson, Phil Wilkinson, Autumn Brown Garibay, and our very own Arthur Craig and Carrie Barnes - whose support will help us grow the club and keep our events going all year.

We’ll see you at the next one!

I'm proud to earn the endorsement of the San Francisco Chronicle for the City College Board of Trustees.

The Chronicle recognizes what many San Franciscans know, that CCSF faces serious challenges, but with experienced leadership and strong financial stewardship, its best days are still ahead.

I am ready to bring my 25 years of experience in public finance and financial managment to strengthen CCSF and protect its mission for generations of students.

I had the opportunity to celebrate with @alcheng888 on Saturday at the Friends of Roots 35th Anniversary Dinner.

Friends of Roots runs and supports the Him Mark Lai Family History Project. The Project promotes personal and cultural research, including family genealogy for Chinese Americans. Research culiminates in a journey to the Pearl River Delta Region/Guangdong Province in China. Since 1991 hundreds of Chinese Americans have made the trip to to their ancestral villages.

As a former Board member, I understand the important work that this organization does in the community. Friends of Roots is also currently raising funds for the renovation of the Chinatown Branch of the San Francisco Public Library.

Congrats to Roots on achieving 35 years of impact!

We are a family of City College of San Francisco students - five of us here in this picture. CCSF has shaped multiple generations of our lives and it's part of the reason we believe so deeply in public service. My mom spent 32 years as a public school teacher and later served as a substitute for SFUSD. My brother-in-law is a San Francisco Firefighter. Service to our community is part of who we are.

Throughout this campaign my family has been my biggest supporters, fundraisers, and volunteers. If you see a poster in a store window, it's because they put it there. They've shown up across the City - knocking on doors and making calls. I want to thank them for their unwavering support and belief in me.
