I remember praying for a push in the right direction, for a chance to prove myself… @escapism.one was the first step of many, but it was the very first step.
I truly appreciate every person who has given me a chance in the last year, and for those who have pushed me throughout this whole journey. I’m in a way better place now than I ever have been ❤️🫶🏼
I have to mention that none of this would have happened if my fiancée didn’t support and push me to trust my skills. Forever grateful @beatrisejaunite

@escapism.at - the Barcelona I'll never forget 🎥

Last September, I flew out to Barcelona for a week to meet creators from all over the world.

What started as a networking event between filmmakers fueled by the same passion for storytelling, ended up beeing days spent together chasing light, movement and emotions.

Huge thanks to Julie and Alessa for hosting this one-of-a-kind experience, looking forward to the next one in Bali!

Imagine you could have everything you wished for? 🌎📸

Last year, I decided to book a flight to Barcelona to attend a creator event hosted by @escapism.at

To be honest, I was quite questioning this trip, as I didn’t know many creators attending. What were they gonna be like? Was everyone going to compare each other through their work?

But even as someone with a rather reserved personality, I managed to make sooo many friends which I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. This event was much more than a networking event. It was a world gathering of creatives, sharing the same passion and experiences while learning altogether.

A huge thank you to @julievalentina and @alessamalin for organizing this event, looking forward to more of these!

And shoutout to the Club Croissant goat @tom.pacelli for the inspiring soundtrack! 🐐

OFFICIAL STATEMENT 🖤

We have an important update about the Creator Event Vol.03. After a lot of conversations over the past days, @passporterapp and @escapism.at have decided to reschedule the event to October 2026.

Given the current global situation and the growing uncertainty around international travel in the coming weeks, we felt rescheduling was the responsible decision for us and for you.

From the beginning, this was never meant to be just another event. It’s about bringing together creators from all over the world and building something special from start to finish (yes, including the afterparties).

Over the last few days, we’ve received so much excitement from many of you wanting to come, but also a lot of uncertainty around whether it would actually be possible to make it. With the event just a month away, we felt this could affect the experience, and we don’t want anyone to miss out or feel unsure.

So instead of doing a “good enough” version, we want to do the epic version we’ve been working on this latest months.

Moving it to October gives everyone more time to plan, makes travel feel easier and more predictable, and allows us to bring together the full international community this event deserves.

The good news is that nothing is lost.. Over the past months, we have already secured the venues, spaces, and key parts of the experience. A big thank you to all the brands and partners who are already part of this. This only means one thing: October will be the best version of the Creator Event possible.

Tickets will be released with more time in advance so everyone can plan properly and be part of it. (Also, for everyone who has already purchased a ticket for May, you will of course have the option to get a full refund or transfer your ticket to the October event)

Get ready… start blocking your calendar!

More information (including landing page & ticketing) coming very soon!!

There’s always someone around us who’s been to Bali: someone who loved it, someone who hated it, and sometimes someone with a strong opinion who’s never even been. But nothing beats forming your own view.

In October 2024, I felt a deep need to step away. It wasn’t about leaving, but about spending €2,000 on a trip with no clear purpose. Just for me just. Yet once I arrived at the hostel, I instantly knew I was exactly where I needed to be. The trip gave me a real boost of energy, and when I came home, I left behind what had been weighing me down. You don’t have to travel to the other side of the world to reset, but a change of scenery can help you grow or return even stronger.
