Prototype (final part) Actual natural crystal stones are hand-sewn on the front part of the jacket. • The cutlines are in a shape of an enlarged piece of a puzzle. This in an execution to a concept of how closely community and friendship work like a puzzle. Every single piece plays an integral part, you connect one piece to the other and another one until they form a complete finished puzzle. • All jackets can be packed into a pouch in shape of the puzzle, which also function as a throw pillow - a nod to comfort in friendships. • All pieces are connected to complete the puzzle.

It creates emotional balance and soothes any ruffles in how we perceive others • Rose Quartz for Heather Danila - is a stone of friendship and love. It is calming and peaceful. It brings love of self, others, and any situations needling love. • Citrine for Carlos Escobar - is a stone of friendship and creativity. It encourages a positive attitude, balances your emotions, and increases creativity.

Prototype (part II) This project is defined as a template constructed to test a concept or a process; it is not only a visualization of meaningful friendships that were created through this journey, but also the blueprint behind the purpose of Sukubumi. • Each reversible jacket features one side that is made entirely of canvas and muslin - fabrics commonly used for the creation of a garment prototype. • The other side of the jacket is hand-dyed to simulate the colors and patterns of the natural stone crystals. These crystals are known for special healing properties, specifically ones that can enhance healthy friendships.

Prototype (part I) The past years haven’t been easy. Damn. It was really tough for some of us. Many have lost a lot - our loved ones, jobs, and/or other things that matter to us. But we eventually move on, at least we try to. We try to be present and appreciate things as much as we possibly can. We start to find new things to make us feel whole again. Some of us found the beauty in nature, some tried new recipes, or some even found love. • I myself, have been blessed with the opportunity to build deeper bonds with some of my friends based here in Boston. The connection is different and special between each and every one of us. • This project is inspired and dedicated to our friends.
